Welcome To Salisbury: The All America City

As you travel south bound on Rt. 13, (near the Rt. 50 overpass) you get to enjoy recent artwork/graffiti along the way. The "All America City" panel must have missed this one.

  1. You know, they could technically be made to move those barriers. They are considered a fixed object and have no end treatments and are within the city right of way and maybe even the state right of way. If someone were to hit these and become injured they definitely could have a case in court. I think about that everytime I drive by. And WHAT an eyesore.

  2. so why do you not do something about it instead of just the usual bitching

  3. Yeah, and the bad part is that the owner put it there instead of buying a real sign...

  4. that's been there for a while now. its a huge eyesore. obviously they have a problem with those issues so perhaps if the police stepped up the patrols of that area they wouldn't have had to take matters into their own hands? although, they could have done it a little more pleasing to the eye...

  7. I was just saying the other day that I wish I had a camera to send you picture of this. There were three people sitting on the barriers that say, "no loitering" and "no tresspassing." Oh the irony.

  8. The property owner is probably at the end of their rope with people barging in on their property. There are ALOT of transeients in that area near the Go Getters place and Royal Farms.BUT,those things are deadly if someone hits them.

  9. I was going to take and send a pic of this to you the other day. Glad I'm not the only one to notice.

  10. Honestly, Salisbury doesn't deserve consideration until they: lower crime, hold their own 4th of July fire works, at least send someone to clean up the trash on the river walk area a day before festivals, re-develop the old mall eye sore, pay their people, treat their landlords with some respect, treat their citizens with some respect, their citizens begin to actually give a damn and vote... too many to list.
