  1. This interview series is superb, and quite unique, in that it makes each candidate's views easily researchable at the voter's convenience.
So just before the election, someone can look at the interviews and make an INFORMED decision--
and that way, they won't just go out and vote for somebody because they think they're "cute" like they did in 2008... :-((
    GREAT job, Joe!

  5. So- On your previous post, you listed Rudy Cane as an upcoming interview. On this one he's not listed. Is this an oversight, or did he change his mind?

  6. Joe thank you for these wonderful interviews. Also thanks to all the candidates (even the ones I am not voting for)
Joe, any chance you could get Ehrlich and O'Malley interviews?
Thanks again and bababooey to you all.

  7. Ehrlich and O'Malley are set to go. We've got you covered on Salisbury News.

  8. I want everybody to know David Goslee does not support the Deputies at the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. He Does not feel the Deputies are intitled to LEOPS, the better retirement and disability package. He feels the Deputies choose to be Deputies, so they deserve nothing different than what they have now, which is nothing other than short term disability if they get injured in the line of duty and can't return to work

  9. I see Matt Holloway signs popping up and yet I also see he only has $25 for his campaign, via campaign finance reports. Strange...

  10. You rock! This is one of the best ideas you've had. Thank you for making it easy to do our research on each candidate.

  11. 12:58pm Could it be he received more contributions after the filing date and then purchased his signs. Gee--guess you didn't think of that--did you. Quit trying to discredit a fine young man. You must be one who is running at-large on who doesn't stand a chance of winning. Shame on you.

Without knowing the facts, you seem to be jumping to conclusions. Most all candidates have a chance, despite what you say. That is just an ignorant response on your part. Did they not just have filing deadlines. How long does it take to get signs made, usually a week or so.

I agree with you. I have wondered the same thing.

Could it be you are trying to stir up trouble. I do not think candidates spend all their time looking over blogs and reading ignorant comments from one persons perspective.

  15. 2:44 Do you have some kind of chip on your shoulder?

    ReplyDelete
  16. 12:58 There are some rumors out there about that subject. I am not sure what the truth is though!

2:44 That comment is just ignorant!

  17. Some more controversy born on sbynews?

  18. I've just spent some time watching some of these interviews. I want to watch a few more later but felt the need to comment.
This is a wonderful thing and I thank the candidates who were interviewed by you.
This is a great way for someone like me who tends to not want to be bombarded at events like the county fair (I stayed away this year because of it being an election year) to get a feel on the candidates views.

  19. Forgive me if this is the wrong post to ask this but is John Wayne Baker still running for anything or did I miss something?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Baker refused to come in for an interview. Too much to hide??????

  21. Did you see Julie at the republican crab feast yesterday with her filthy dirty pink pants and a big hole in her butt. Every time I have seen her it looks like she never takes showers. Might I recommend vicks vapor rub for your nose Mike. It will help you to sleep better at night.

  22. I saw that too. She must have been desperate to wear those nasty pink pants. Who could miss a hole like that. Get your act together Julie.

  23. Everyone was talking about it at the crab feast. I don't know how she could have missed it.

  24. Maybe she got what she wanted. The only one who is being talked about that went the crab feast is Julie. It might be about her pink, holey pants but she has her name out there.

  25. I thought it was the crabs that had gone bad.

  26. Thank you Mr. Joe for answering my question about Baker. I knew him from the 80's when he was a bouncer and the only aspiration he had back then was to be a male stripper. Maybe he has changed now like many of us have from those good ol' days of fun, myself included, but I'll never forget the audition that he gave me!

  27. Hey Joe, if/when you bump this post up again would it be to much trouble to ask to add what the candidates are running for behind their name? It would be much easier for us dummies to know who is running in are voting area.
