We all hope so. He's run all the good firefighters away from 16 with his spoiled brat behavior. Salisbury stands a chance in recovering if they both leave.

You wouldn't make it in a large metro FD because they wouldn't tolerate your whining and back stabbing. At least this kid went to a real fire department with real fireman.

Last night the all call tones were activated for a building fire and all 3 Salisbury stations were alerted including the volunteers from Station 16. What is interesting is the first time in 2 years the volunteers at Station 16 were able to get out Tower 16, Engine 16-1 and there were a few that marked up as being at the firehouse. What makes this interesting is the fact that Jeremy Gordy left and Bill Gordy wasn't around. Now you tell me what has been the problem?

ReplyDeleteThe Majority of you need to check yourselves ... while Gordy might have been young and immature at times (outside of the firehouse) he pulled his weight plus inside. He was always willing to help out, worked well with the recruits and probationary firefighters, and responded to more calls most of the volunteers. He had his issues, but we all have some ... Good Luck Jeremy .. hope NC finds you successful
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Greensboro, NC is 13 times larger than Salisbury, MD where there is a larger more structured Fire Department. He wont be a big fish in a little pond, just another fire fighter. Greensboro FD won't put up with foolishness.
