ACCUSED:
1.Jacob Tyler Derr W/M, 19 YOA, 6068 Disharoon Road, Snow Hill,MD
2. Dennis John Cross Jr W/M, 18 YOA, 1393 Franklin City Road, Greenbackville, VA
3. Juvenile W/M

CHARGES:
1. Jacob Derr is charged with 1 count of 1st degree burglary, 1 count MDOP, 1 count theft unde $1,000

2. Dennis John Cross is charged with 3 counts of M/V theft, 2 counts of theft under $100,000, 1 count of theft under $10,000, 3 counts of Burglary 1St, 3 counts of Burglary 4th degree

3. Juvenile charged with 1 count M/V theft, 1 count Burglary 1st degree

NARRATIVE:
Starting in May of 2010 through June of 2010 there were several motor vehicle thefts and burglaries in the Whiton area of Worcester County. Through the investigation, information on three suspects was developed. The juvenile suspect was located and arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, who was in possession of one of the reported stolen vehicles.

Members of the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation flew to Atlanta reference this investigation. Information learned from the investigation was there were additional suspects involved. Those leads are being followed up on.

Jacob Derr is currently being housed in the Worcester County Detention Center.

WCBI has obtained a warrant for the arrest of Dennis John Cross, who accompanied the others involved in this crime, but fled on foot when the apprehension occurred in Atlanta Ga. Dennis Cross is believed to be in Maryland or lower Eastern Shore of Virginia.
