  1. First it's tea party now Steele.

Thanks republicans, maybe November 2010 election won't be so bad... You're certainly guaranteeing another 4 years for Obama so far.

    Thank you Lindsey Graham
    Thank you Michael Steele
    Thank you Tea Party
    Who's next

    I am loving it...

  2. It doesn't matter if it's business, politics, military, or anything else.....if you can't garner the support of the people you are trying to lead, if you can't solidify the cause you represent, then a new leader must be sought.

I personaly like Mr. Steele, but I feel this job is not the best use for him.

Our country needs better leaders in all aspects of our lives. From our churches, schools and businesses, to our government, emergency services and civic organizations, we need people who have good mrals and values that can lead by example and bring our country to the forefront of doing things based on valued decisions and not just monetary results.

I was very fortunate to have very good examples of great leaders during my time in the military which included Desert Storm among other conflicts. At the time my ships captain was Capt. Charles Abbott. He epidomised what leadership is.

  3. The thing that isn't mentioned a lot is Steele just has not raised enough money as RNC head. I think the Republicans could use Palin to get a mass influx of money they need. I'm not sure she would be a good RNC chief, but I'd surely give her some sort of visible position and allow her to put the charm offensive on the donors.

  4. Ron, even most republicans realize that Palin is a joke as a politician. She was the main reason McCain lost his election.
    She's a media whore.
Palin would never appeal to wealthy contributors because they can actually think...

RNC does not need wingnuts or bimbos in charge. I think that people of Ehrlich or Graham calibers would be best suitable for the position.

  6. In my heart, I cannot believe that Michael Steele, who 2 + years ago was a wonderful sensitive gentleman, who has had the interest of the American people truly in his vision has taken this very visible terrible turn. I have heard gun speak several times in the past and was always impressed. NOW, it seems to us that he has had one of 3 things:
    1.Developing Alzheimer.
    2.Had a mini stroke.
3.The Illinois group have threatened him in some terrible way.

This man was talked about from Houston to Maryland. I got phone calls from friends in Texas who thought he was so brilliant. What has happened to this man? Draw your own conclusion, my husband and I have..

  7. Alex and other Sarah Palin haters should really back off. She was the governor of a State, had real jobs, lived in the real world, started from the bottom (a city council) and is not a joke. She speaks to the common person and she means what she says. I don't think she would take the job anyway, she makes more money this way. It was tough to pick Steele because Michael Steele was never a social conservative, he is more fiscally conservative. But in fact he's a true Republican, a true GOP guy who's gone against every conservative tea party type and sided with the losing guy in their races like Scozzafaza, even Charlie Crist for crying out loud. I don't know why Michael Steele said what he did, but it's true. Just because the Republicans are happy with Obama's decision to put in Petraus, doesn't mean that he should be ousted as Chairman for telling the truth. Obama picked the strategy, picked Gen. McChrystal for Afghanistan, it's his war and if he's not it to win it, why are we there? Only the morons who want this war-the WAR Party and some hardline conservatives- really want to stay in there. But if we don't have a strategy for victory, what the hell are we there for?

  8. Umm, Sarah Palin cannot finish a job. What makes her such a great leader? I wish someone would tell me. All I see is a quitter, who makes snarky comments and has no solutions. Sad to say she resigned her position as governor. Proof enough for me that she is not presidential material.
