Joe- just left the area. I'll send pictures tomorrow morning. 2 of those 4 are in critical condition when I was there, police officers saying one would probably be "10-7" when he got to the hospital. A 10-7 means "dead." It wasn't a pretty sight.
About the same time as this was happening we were on the ferris wheel at the Delaware State Fair and I got this real uneasy feeling. I usually don't mind the ferris wheel but for some reason, I was not comfortable riding it last night. Felt like something bad was going to happen. We had no clue this had happened until we got home late last night and read about it online. Man o Man!
Then why is Gary running his mouth and saying he heard someone was going to be dead by the time they arrived at the hosptial. God I feared the worse then read everywhere else the injuries were non-life threatening. People like you cause harmful rumors gary. Did it make your day that you thought you were contributing to everyones daily feed of negativity. And you published your name to try to get some credit for it. Backfired didn't it?
Are the injuries serious or not?? One person saying two people were critical at the scene and one of them was "10-7" , and the other guy saying the injuries are not serious. I was there last year when it go stuck on the way up the incline. Was NOT impressed with the urgency of the response by trimpers employees although they did get all down safely.
Someone close to the OCPD has told me that Trimper's rides didn't do so well in their last inspection. Joe, you might want to snoop some more on this one, I think it's going to be a huge story when it comes out.
Funny everyone knows so much yet knows nothing. the ride was shut down for precautions. the people injured were on the platform and were struck with debris. To the post about 10-7, B.S. All were treated and released. No injuries were severe. My god people get a life, are you really in need of one so bad that you'll post things as fact just to post. This information coming from someone who responded to the call.
Which roller coaster and what happened?

ReplyDeleteI read on another local news website it was the Tidal Wave. Praying for the folks on this ride. Hope they are just minor injuries.

ReplyDeleteHow old was that coster???
ReplyDeleteOK...SO WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED??? no one is saying wether it stoped upside down or if they fell out of it or what actually happened!
ReplyDeleteI'm hearing here in OC that a cable snapped. Not sure what caused the injuries. Thank God none are too serious.

ReplyDelete9:55 Gary knows what he's talking about trust me.
ReplyDeleteBad news from OC rarely makes it in the MSM... It would be bad for tourism. I hope we are able to find out the true story here.
ReplyDeleteI think there's more to this story than what is being let out.

ReplyDeleteOCPD has nothing to do with ride inspections. That work is performed by the state of MD. So I doubt that OCPD knows anything about it.
