As we all know, Davis Ruark and Sam Vincent are going to face each other in this upcoming election.
HOWEVER, Salisbury News has come to learn of TWO more candidates expected to jump into the race. One Republican and one Democrat.
This is not only going to get very interesting, it's going to become a battle.
This is great news. We need to have more and better choices at all elected positions.
ReplyDeleteWish we'd have more interest in County Exec and Council seats.
Davis has my support !!
ReplyDeleteShouldn't Davis Ruark be charged with election tampering with his new rules ?
ReplyDeletewe need some new blood for the office, Sam and Davis need to go!
ReplyDeleteDavis may be a hard man to beat!!! but i think SAM will be the only one to may have a chance to do so. may the best man win..
ReplyDeleteOr best woman. :o)
ReplyDeleteI think Cpl. Hoarce Chester should run and put Det. sam workman as his deputy states attorney
ReplyDeleteGreat news, hopefully more will jump in the race in Somerset. The two running here are about the same caliber as those of Wicomico and leave a lot to be desired.
ReplyDeleteToo bad Somerset County has few choices for States Attorney.
ReplyDelete10:33 i agree that Horace would do a great job.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see Davis get beat
ReplyDeleteThe only hope for keeping Ruark and Vincent together as a team is to re-elect Ruark. He has the best judgment regarding what is necessary to do the job, regardless of politics.
ReplyDelete10:07.... Do tell what women do you speak of?
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the employees of that office. they are being manipulated like pawns in a chess game with this mess forcing the staff to choose allegiences. I have a close friend that works there and she says everyone is tense and dejected and many are looking to work somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteRuark is showing his true self to the public------Change is needed, sometimes people get to confident for their own good & Especially the good of this County!
ReplyDeletei've been told by an employee in the states attorney office also, it's a nightmare. everyone is afraid of being laid off oor to even do what they think is right, for fear ruark will fire them.
ReplyDeletemoral is terrible and alot of interoffice disagreement.
ruark has to go.
i think they should have an elections for the judges in this area. based on some of the sentences (or NON-sentences) ive seen, we could use a fresh face or 7.
ReplyDeletegood...I hope these late entries are people Ruark cannot fire
ReplyDeleteLiz Ireland would make a great state's attorney!
ReplyDeleteLiz, dont get on her bad side.
ReplyDeleteSo who are they? It would be very interesting to know. Is one possibly a woman? Davis should have resigned last year.
ReplyDelete9:32 AM I totally agree
Liz-you go girlfriend. She is what the county needs in that position.
ReplyDeleteWhats the salary?
ReplyDeleteLets be honest bout wicomico county courts, Go to the local golf outing gs in town, there u would see all of the so call Law Prosecutors(Sam Vincent as well) Hanging out waisting tax payer dollars with with Defense attorneys. Wicomico county needs real change not the same ol boy system, this county needs change cant wait to get out of here
