Island Creamery in Chincoteague, then Kohr's in Rehoboth. Chesapeake Bay Farms also has excellent ice cream - not sure where they are located but they frequent many local farmers markets
Dumser's. When I grew up Mt. Pleasant Church had an ice cream social. Everybody got together and took turns cranking the ice cream in the old style ice cream makers. They had a petting zoo for the kids. It was a day for family, friends and neighbors to come together and just enjoy each others company. I miss that so much.
Pony Espresso and Creamery Co. next to Jaws at Frontier Town. Not only do they have great ice cream, but they have great smoothies, frozen coffee and gourmet coffee. Two thumbs up for the blended ice mocha. It is the best. Locals it's not just for campers at Frontier Town. It's open to everyone.
i'm not sure of the name of the place but on your way to ocean city from salisbury on rt 50 there is a place on the left hand side of the road maybe a mile or two before reaching the state police barracks it has a bunch of sighns near the road . anyways the icecream is home made and is great.thay allso sell cheeses home made, some seafoods, local farm raised beef even home made butter .
Yeah, we loved Scoops! Really miss Alan & John and the good conversations plus the ice cream and coffee. Mueller's in Chincoteague is good. They have fresh made waffle cones. Wish we had a Ben & Jerry's franchise in Salisbury.
I agree with everyone who says Island creamery in chincoteague. The secret is they use the expensive cream base for their IC Gotta get the fresh made waffle cone. Kohr's on the boardwalk in OC has pumpkin and cinnamon twist in the fall that is killer.
