"It has come to my attention that on Thursday at 1:30 PM there will be a work session regarding amongst other things the nomination of Sharon Lloyd to the SAPOA controlled board. Mayor Ireton has put in the nomination, however, a council member will be out of town, and it is feared that Sharon will be denied, though she is a 20 yr. real estate person from the city, and wears a white hat.
If we show our solidarity (though we cannot speak) at the work session, and listen carefully to Louise's shenanigans, we will be able to use the information at the Council meeting. This is a once in a 4 year opportunity to change for the better.
Try to attend please and anyone else you can think of the DD is still a powerful force."
Why don't we get rid of the problem, put a muzzle on Louise.
ReplyDeleteKennys wife?
ReplyDeleteThis is the Housing Appeals Board, formerly (and for far too long)headed by SAPOA's former president, mega-landlord Richard Insley.
ReplyDeleteSAPOA wants to keep its hold on the Housing Appeals Board. After all, in the time that Insley headed the board, it immediately found in favor of the landlord in virtually all of its cases, and gave the landlord an extension when it didn't.
Now that Insley's on his way out, SAPOA wants to put another lackey in his place so that it can get away with more. It's just good business, right SAPOA?
People should come and fill that room and hear firsthand what Louise's reasons are for not approving Sharon Lloyd as the new board member.
Scratch her eyes out Sharon, pretend shes Allen.
ReplyDeleteThis meeting was orchestrated by Louise Smith, probably at the behest of SAPOA, who wants to find a ringer they can put in the seat.
ReplyDeleteSmith arranged this work session for a day that she knew Debbie Campbell would be out of town on business.
Get everybody you can to come to this meeting and to show Louise (and Shanie) that people care about this issue and that they don't want another SAPOA flunky to be on this board.
Sharon Lloyd is fully qualified for the board, and there's not a reason that can be seen why she shouldn't be approved.
Yea, the double D has aways been a powerful force to me.
ReplyDelete1202 gotta agree with ya on that one. Where would we be without Double D?
ReplyDeleteDuring the election cycle, among the many issues taht Lousie promised she would address was Richard Insley on the housing board. Louise, could you deliver on just one campaign promise, please, and confirm the appointment of Mrs. Lloyd?
ReplyDeleteOh, I get it now. "DD" = Dirty Dozen (a group of concerned citizens) as nicknamed with great contempt by Mike Dunn or Gary Comegys or Barrie Tilghman (maybe all 3) as I recall.
