Paul McCartney would like President Obama's critics to let him be.
“I’m a big fan, he’s a great guy. So lay off him, he’s doing great,” the British songsmith said on Tuesday, ABC News reported.
This year’s recipient of the Library of Congress’s Gershwin Prize for Popular song, McCartney is set to perform at the White House Wednesday evening and be feted by fellow musicians Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, the Jonas Brothers, Elvis Costello and Herbie Hancock, among others.

another druggie coming to the side of obummer? shocker. never liked either of those guys from jump-street.
ReplyDeleteI love it when famous people from other countries tell us what a great job our President is doing. Really, Paul? Care to elaborate on his wonderful accomplishments so far and how the US is so much better off than when Bush was in office? Care to elaborate on how he's fixing all the problems from the previous admin. that have plagued us so? Maybe its all the invites to the White House for parties that makes him such a great guy.
ReplyDeleteOkay McCartney. Just let it under your skin and you will begin to make it better
ReplyDeleteYou blew your mind out on opium years ago given to you by your handlers. Now you want Obama to keep up the opium import via our CIA so you and yours can enjoy the fruits of war?
You don't rank in my book.
Wasn't he the moron who forgot to get a pre-nup with that one legged call girl? Classy stuff right there.
ReplyDeleteHey Paul- tend to your own politics across the pond
ReplyDeleteActually the Brits do know how to get it right. Following the resignantion of Gordon Brown (Labour Party), England has Conservative and Liberals working together and they manage to do so effectively.
ReplyDeleteKeep thinking that you're the greatest country on earth...
Obama needs to spend more time studying the issues that face our country and less time being entertained by hollywood.

ReplyDeleteYeah right. That is why the U.K. is going broke from entitlements such as health care. Now even Canada is realizing that the whole health care entitlements are impossible to pay for and are discussing cuts.
The Beatles suck.
ReplyDeleteYeah Paul whatever...why dont you and all the other celebrities rubbing elbows with the O's "lay off"or in more British terms,"piss off" trying to talk down to us.
ReplyDelete11:06...yeah working together effectively for what about two weeks now?
ReplyDelete11:06...pack your crap and leave the USA.... WE ARE the greatest country on earth...whenever bad things happen on this planet, even our enemies call on us for help....and we give it to them....We are still the first country of choice for millions of people looking to IMPROVE THEIR LIVES. I'm willing to bet YOU think Saudi Arabia is the greatest country on earth, huh? Or maybe China? Perhaps poor, picked on & misunderstood Iran? Flights are leaving for those places every day....Please get on one of them...one way would be REALLY NICE...
ReplyDelete"Sir" Paul needs to voice his opinions over tea with the Queen Mum....
ReplyDeleteThere is NO interest in them here...
Just another merry wednesday. Every week.
ReplyDeleteWhy do stupid Americans think it is smart to suggest that a person leave America because they don't like oppression from this evil government.
ReplyDeleteThe whole point of communicating is to exchange ideas. Some of us believe our Country is in peril.
Some of us want to share what we have learned about this secret government who is gradually eroding our freedoms.
Why does any one think it necessary to tell me or anyone else to leave America? Why would we want to leave? Most of us want the Country back that we learned about in school and in books.
Stop telling us to leave. This is America where we used to have the right to free speech and the right to public dissent.
Maybe you are in the wrong country? I don't know. But THIS COUNTRY is about freedom.
Well The Obama administration and Sir Paul can start working on Farwell to The Gulf Alblum: reaaly soon...
