While Domino's has scrambled to re-imagine their pizza recipes and Pizza Hut continues to basically give away their pizzas for a pittance, it was Papa John's who apparently made the best impression on eaters in the last year. The Kentucky-based chain has topped not only its pizzeria rivals, but all fast foods in an annual survey of customer satisfaction.
Why would anyone eat from any of these chains when there is so much good pizza out there?
ReplyDeleteI blame Obama.
The hilarious thing about America is, Pizza Hut is actually the largest pizza chain. How sad is that?
ReplyDeleteCan't beat Papa John's for a $10 pie!
ReplyDeleteI'd rather pay $20 for a good pie than $10 for one that tastes like my grandfather's socks!
ReplyDeleteim not a huge fan of PapaJohn's myself. it's ok. of the chains i prefer the new dominos.
ReplyDeletelocal pizza though... Dough roller in oc is great, and LOMBARDI's in salisbury is my fave... the flavor of the cheese from Lombardi's is the best. (of course this is my opinion)
Papa John's is good pizza...you couldn't give me a Pizza Hut pizza anymore. They are just terrible. IMHO.
ReplyDeletedominos is just horrible. pizza hut is a grease trap. if i want grease, ill go to delmar pizza. papa johns is OK, but the garlic sauce is what puts it over for me.
ReplyDeletealthough -
why is pizza like sex? because even if its bad, its still good!
My personal faves from the shore are 3 brothers(although I like the ones in DC better, they have a store/deli in them as well), Grotto Pizza, and(atleast back in the day) Delmar pizza would hit the spot.
ReplyDeletethat's true... i dont think i've ever had a pizza that i spit out. haha
ReplyDeletei am a pizza freak.
If its fresh out of the oven,Pizza Hut pan pizza is my favorite over all others. No one else can seem to duplicate that crust. They are a pizza chain giant because they are one of the many franchises owned by Pepsico,as are all the Taco Bell,KFC and Long John Silver franchises.
ReplyDeleteLove pizza hut pan pizza but for the past 4-5 times i have called there they never have pan pizza crusts...mt. hermon rd one... so we get something else
ReplyDeleteWhen I really want a great pizza, I go to Ponzettis!
ReplyDeletei honestly have to say this... I shoot Pool in the APA pool league. Tonight, we had the pleasure of playing at Village Inn in Parsonsburg (on old Ocean City Rd) and I must say, the Pizza wasn't half bad. even my brother in law who loves papa johns thought it was pretty good too. His favorite local pizza is Depitro's (I may be spelling that wrong...sorry)
ReplyDeleteDepietro's is the best!!! I have tried them all and I don't know what they do so different but it has always been delicious!
