  3. What a sad way to end a distinguished career. None of the snarky comments in Rolling Stone are about substantive issues, just petty backbiting. It is cowardly and unbecoming an officer. What did he hope to benefit??

  8. 12:39 Hopefully the "benefit" will be that the liberals who read Rolling Stone will realize that we have an incompetent dud as president. I can list MANY unbecoming things Obama has done since he became president.

  9. Where's Harry Truman when we really need him?

  10. Obama is destroying America and this General knows it.The General has an imposable job with a President who lacks all his facilities.

  11. Reminds me of what department heads are saying about Mayor Ireton.

  12. Since when are we okay with our top military leaders bashing the President?
If this had happened when Bush was in office, you all would have been up in arms all over it!
Even if what the guy said (which I've not been able to find out) is true, you just don't go spouting off like he apparently did publicly!
He did nothing but show weakness in our military to the enemy. Isn't that what you right wing Republicans said about someone during Bush's terms in office??
I'm a registered independent and at times will side with Republican as well as Democrat on issues and come up with my own conclusions instead of towing the party line.
The right has it wrong on this one.
I don't agree with a LOT this President has done and is doing but I'm not a higher up military officer either!

  13. So why not spoot off publicly? You think Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi would have been cordial to John McCain and Sarah Palin if they had won?

  14. 4:27pm...why dont you tell us exactly what he said? HE said NOTHING, his aide in his office said it....and what exactly was it that the aide said thats sooooo unbecoming?.... the word wimp? You claim to be independent but you jump right on the liberal media bandwagon. And for future reference......to NOT speak out against tyranny and corruption in our government and military is treason!

We have heard Gordy and Hoppes bad mouth the Mayor of Salisbury for 2 over 2 years now. They started bath mouthing Ireton when they wanted Comegys to be the Mayor. What is ironic is that Ireton knows this, but doesn't have the balls to put a stop to it. Just rewards the incompetence.
