Marshall More, owner of Delmarva imports and Brother of David Moore passed away today. While I'll not get into the details, our thoughts and prayers go out to the Moore Family.
Also shocked to hear this. He was known about town as a good guy who always tried to be helpful. Had some questionable friends, though. May he rest in peace, whatever the circumstances were of his passing.
To his family and friends, My sincere sympathies and deepest condolences. The manner and cause of death matters not. Remember him with love. I have fond memories of Marshall and am deeply saddened to hear he has transitioned so early in this life. May the angels surround him and his loved ones. Namaste, Catherine Adkins Suraci
Marshall was like a brother to me so can everyone please not judge his friends or his life????? For once let someone's family grieve peacefully. Keep your negative thoughts/comments to yourself.
My love and condolences to the Moore family. Marshall was a great guy and will be missed very much. I hope Marshall has found peace on his new journey and God is holding him in his arms now. I agree w/the last comment. We are here to love...not judge. RIP Marshall until we all see you again someday. Terri Eversman
Blesses on his family and friends. Marshall was a good friend of mine and I appreciated his sense of humor. He will be missed by many. Love to you all,
Marshall was such a wonderful and caring person. I have known him since I was just a small child, as he owned Delmarva Imports and my father did work for him on his vehicles. He had such a great sense of humor and always knew how to make you smile. Agreeing with the above statements, please remember Marshall for the wonderful person & father that he was. May he rest easy! -S.Cooper
Marshall Moore was a great friend to many people and will be missed terribly by my family. It is such a shame that his own brother David Moore and his sister pushed Marshall in to such a dark center of the world to be alone with nothing and they left him there feeling so hopeless that he would hang himself. What kind of family would take everything from their own brother to get their jollies from his pain?
To Blogger 4:18 pm. May I ask how you have such intimate knowledge of the details of Marshall's life and death? Were you his therapist? If so, even in death you are breaking the patient/client privilege. Otherwise, how could you possible know what was in Marshall's mind; what he was thinking?
You are cruel hearted to point fingers and make such accusations. A family has lost a loved one. The body is barely cold, but you, you are colder than Arctic Ice. Judge, Jury and Executioner. Remember that when you point a finger THREE point back at you.
As for the manner and cause of his death, the jury is still out on that one. The police have an investigation to do in order to rule out foul play. Until such time, his death remains an "apparent" suicide.
Now, I ask you - have YOU gotten your jollies from injecting even more pain into the mix of the sudden and tragic loss of a family member?
You need therapeutic intervention and quickly. What you have posted is EVIL.
4:18 should be respectful of the family. Joe, you shouldn't post inflammatory comments by people that don't know what they're talking about. May God bless Marshall's family and comfort them all in this time of sorrow.
Leave the family alone and mind your own business Im sick of hearing all of your speculations He is and will always hold a special place in my family. He has three beautiful daughters, let them grieve in privacy.
I am so sorry to hear of Marshall's passing. I have many old but very fond memories of him. He will be missed by anyone who knew him. I send my condolences to his family.
To Post 7:19am - During a time of such shock, grief, and sorrow, the usage of words such as "scum bag" are beyond rude. They are reprehensible.
Joe - Sadly, several of your reader/bloggers have no sense of decorum, no compassion, no understanding of when it is appropriate to express themselves via negative verbiage.
There has always been a rule in my family. If you cannot think of anything kind to say, then keep your mouth shut, particularly in a public forum during a period of mourning. That includes writing your vitriolic bile on a public blog. Compassion. Think before acting.
It was with total disbelief that I learned of this tragic event. My first thoughts were of Marshall's daughters. I hope that others remember that what is posted here will likely be read by them. From Beverage Barn to the car lot and then to real estate, it was quite a journey. A customer once said that Marshall had the "gift of gabb". And to that, I still remember his cell phone bills! He had a great talent of building friendships among people who likely never would have crossed paths. March, you will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family.
I have known Marshall since we were little kids...he lived across the street from me...He was always kind, and thoughtful and just a really decent human being, and it did not change as he got older.
I will always remember him fondly as an awesome person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family . MB Mullen
Marshall Moore will be missed dearly. I too feel the loss is greatest to his daughters who are still so young. I only hope what comes around, goes around and that there is someone around to take the last glimmering of hope from David Moore, who tied the noose around the man's neck.
I find it EVIL that someone would accuse Marshall's brother David, of having any hand in Marshall's hanging.
The last glimmer of hope hope lies in God's hands.
If you know for a fact that foul play is involved contact the police/FBI immediately - otherwise CEASE and DESIST in verbal hurtful actions against a family which needs to heal.
I'm reading all of this from Atlanta where I moved in 1995. I haven't talked to Marshall in many years. We graduated high school together. I'm kicking myself because 3 to 4 monhs ago, I felt a strong urge to contact him, but only contacted him through his business on facebook. I didn't pursue it anymore, but a week ago, felt very compelled to contact him again. I am so sorry, Marshall, that I didn't contact you. I miss you. I'm not saying that my phone call could have prevented this tragedy, but you never know. I've got so much guilt. Please forgive me God for not listening to you. I miss you Marshall. I'm so sorry to his daugthers, mother, father, brother, sister, ex-wifes. It hurt too much.
I used to sell BMW parts to Marshall and would visit him on occasion on the way to OC. I was thinking about him on the way to work this morning and searched the internet only to discover this terrible news that he couldnt take the pain anymore...i will miss you marshall and hope you have found peace...many people love you Marshall....have a peaceful journey "my friend"..(he used to say "my friend" in conversation)...lol
Just wanted to add how special Marshall was. Shocked to hear of his passing and I too would be concerned for his daughters. would bitch him out for leaving them... but then he would expect that of me. Had a special friendship with him back in the day...He leaves such a hole in this world where he used to be...wish I could convinced him to stay, had I known. I wish him peace. This world will miss you Marshall, my friend. Wish you realized how special you were. May God comfort you now.
Shocked to hear this Marshall was a good person . I hope he went peacefully .
