  1. All it takes is a minute for a little one to get away from you. Never assume someone else is watching them.

  2. We live just 3 houses down from this family... It is indeed a horrible tragedy that no parent should ever have to face. The mother's cries could be heard throughout the neighborhood. Please pray for this family. I for one, will hug my own children a little tighter and a little longer and thank God that I am not in the place that these parents find themselves on this Father's Day.

  4. Very sad event. My heart goes out to the family. I know how the mother feels and any one that knows her please support her. If you don't know what to say don't turn your back and walk the other direction, sit with her in silence if need be. She will need all of the support that comes her way.

  5. This is a parents' worse nightmare. As parent, grandparent, and teacher I can only imagine what this family is going through. Surely, some will blame them for not being attentive to the child, but this is not what this family needs. My prayer is that everyone will reach out to this family in prayer and understanding to help them through this. May God bless the family with peace and understanding that their perfect "little one" is now in his gentle and loving hands free from fear and pain.
