She's just as much "tax and spend" as Cane. Here's what she said at Pollit's budget bash in April 2010:
"Everybody's probably feeling their department can't afford trimming," said Von Siggers, a former member of the Salisbury City Council. "It's hard to see where to cut. Nobody seems to have any fat."
Let's hope a Republican (or very conservative Dem.) files.
The personal attacks aren't going to fly on this Post.
Now, if you want to use your real registered Blogger name, I'll let those fly. No one is going to be anonymous and make the statements you have been trying to make.
I wonder if you have to be vetted in order to run for state delegate? If so Rudy Cane just lost an opponent. I remember when we were all living on the "outhouse" side of this state and we sure have some political and a few regular folks down here trying to prove it! If things don't change in this county really quick we're done. The sad ting is a local government goes so goes the state and so goes our country with the blind leading the blind into the sewer!
While Ms. Siggers may be an extremely nice person, how is she different than Rudy Cane? Based upon her record in City Council, and those she supports, won't it just be business as usual? She will just continue to support the policies that are crippling this state and this area. We need someone who will truly represent the district...
Go Von! At least she is putting herself out there and is willing to serve--I bet most of those people making nasty personal comments have never had the guts to run for office.
People can say what they will about Von Siggers but when she was on the Council she represented her constituents first and foremost-she stood up for THEIR concerns.
this will be a CIRCUS.......

Neither one are any good.
ReplyDeleteNo matter which one wins, Wicomico will continue to be the laughingstock of the General Assembly.
ReplyDeleteIf she was running against Sheree Sample-Hughes that would be a real cat fight.

How can I support anyone that supports Pollitt?
ReplyDeleteI will take Von over Rudy any day. You go Von, I supported you on the city council and I will support you on the GA.

My God, are you people capable of reading!
ReplyDeleteNo personal attacks, period. Use your registered Blogger name or know your comment will be rejected.
Von, you sure have pissed off Barrie and Mikey. I'm sure they're behind the nasty comments being rejected.
So, where's the "More in a Moment?" Do you not know what that means from 4:22 this afternoon?
