I am searching for a good jeweler to repair a gold rope chain. I would appreciate everyone's opinion on who would do the best job for a resonable price. This chain is very important to me as it's the first gift I ever received from my wife (22 years ago).
Thanks for your input,
Mardela
G B Heron on Mt. Hermon Rd.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is the one G B Heron, best around for years.
ReplyDeleteDitto on GB Heron. Also, Jewelers Bench in the old Super G shopping center.
ReplyDeleteShillings. Nanticoke Road.
ReplyDeleteGB Heron with a doubt! Best work and best price!
ReplyDeleteDoug Westfall at Gold Crafts in Berlin is the BEST!! 410-641-1119
ReplyDeleteSchillings on Nanticoke Rd. Barry is the best!
ReplyDeleteBarry Schilling does super work.. as did his brother Bill and his father Hans.
ReplyDeleteSwap meet on Church street ask for crazy louie
ReplyDeletePark Place Jewelers in OC is very professional and well-priced.
ReplyDeleteStay away from Robinson's. Shoddy work and takes months to get it back.
ReplyDeleteGB HERON!!!
ReplyDeleteJewelers Bench in Salisbury does really great work. I have had several pieces repaired there and they have always done it fast and for a good price. I took a ring to GB Heron once and it took almost 2 weeks to have it sized and they charged me to return the piece of metal they took out of my ring!
ReplyDeleteI only trust my jewelry with Schillings on Nanticoke Road.
ReplyDeleteJewelers Bench is the best place to go.
ReplyDeleteStay away from the Jewelers Bench! I took a piece of jewelry there and when I got it back it was not the same piece I took in there. I tried to fight it but I did not win. So who only knows where my jewlery really is or whose jewelry I have.
ReplyDeleteSalim and his wife Debbie at the Jewelers Bench across from Giant Foos on Rt. 13 in Salisbury. He fixes it right there at a better than fair price. I cannot imagine Salim doing what 11:57 said happened. I have been there a hundred times and have never had a bad experience.
ReplyDeleteGB Heron set a one karat diamond in my ring that fell out 3 months later IN THE OCEAN, never to be found again. I'll net trust them again.
ReplyDeleteShillings. Nanticoke Road.
ReplyDeleteschillings, nanticoke road. never trust another soul with my treasures.
ReplyDeleteI only have experience with G.B. Heron and have been well satisfied.
ReplyDeleteGB Heron - simply the BEST!
ReplyDeleteJewlers Bench is trustworthy and much better price than G.B. Heron.
ReplyDeleteschillings!! He did great work on my great grandmothers ring that was past to me... I would trust him with anything
ReplyDeleteG.B. heron and ask for Eric Miller he is a goldsmith that was taught by barry schilling. SD
ReplyDeleteSchillings of course. fair prices, excellent service.
ReplyDeleteI like the Jewelers bench also. I took my wedding and engagement ring there to get sized. He had it done within a few hours while I did some other shoppig. He even replaced one of the small diamonds that had fallen out. Even with all that it was only about 100 bucks. I was impressed!
ReplyDeleteKen Sehman the Jeweler on Riverside Drive across from the "high rise" building on the river. He ran Kuhns for years, and has forgotten more about jewelry than most know.
ReplyDeleteReasonably priced, too.
GB Heron but don't ask for Eric Miller, can't trust him and his work isn't all that great compared to the others there
