Jewelry Repair

I am searching for a good jeweler to repair a gold rope chain. I would appreciate everyone's opinion on who would do the best job for a resonable price. This chain is very important to me as it's the first gift I ever received from my wife (22 years ago).

Thanks for your input,

Mardela

  11. Stay away from Robinson's. Shoddy work and takes months to get it back.

  12. Jewelers Bench in Salisbury does really great work. I have had several pieces repaired there and they have always done it fast and for a good price. I took a ring to GB Heron once and it took almost 2 weeks to have it sized and they charged me to return the piece of metal they took out of my ring!

  15. Stay away from the Jewelers Bench! I took a piece of jewelry there and when I got it back it was not the same piece I took in there. I tried to fight it but I did not win. So who only knows where my jewlery really is or whose jewelry I have.

  16. Salim and his wife Debbie at the Jewelers Bench across from Giant Foos on Rt. 13 in Salisbury. He fixes it right there at a better than fair price. I cannot imagine Salim doing what 11:57 said happened. I have been there a hundred times and have never had a bad experience.

  26. I like the Jewelers bench also. I took my wedding and engagement ring there to get sized. He had it done within a few hours while I did some other shoppig. He even replaced one of the small diamonds that had fallen out. Even with all that it was only about 100 bucks. I was impressed!

  27. Ken Sehman the Jeweler on Riverside Drive across from the "high rise" building on the river. He ran Kuhns for years, and has forgotten more about jewelry than most know.
    Reasonably priced, too.

  28. GB Heron but don't ask for Eric Miller, can't trust him and his work isn't all that great compared to the others there
