Multiple searches across the Northeast target potential cash connections
BOSTON - FBI agents have executed search warrants at multiple locations in the Northeast in connection with the failed Times Square car bombing.
NBC's Pete Williams reported that the agents involved in the raids are pursuing potential cash connections with the bomb plot.
Williams said they are investigating currency exchangers who may have facilitated transactions for the alleged bomber, Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistan-born U.S. citizen.
