A Special Letter To The Editor

Dear Joe,
On behalf of The Foxwell Family I want to say THANK YOU ! You took the time to take Jennifer and myself to Annapolis and for that I am grateful.
For your readers we left at 7:30am and returned at 1:30 am . I can not put into words how pleased I am that all differences were put aside for our Sarah. I believe this bill passed into law because of you , Joe. Your drive and passion to motivate people amazes me.
As I am writing this the magnitude of what WE did yesterday is hitting me. Only Jennifer , Mike Lewis , Gary Baker, myself and you truly know what I am saying.
I want to add that I am very, very , very disappointed in our local media. NO ONE ATTENDED !! The Daily Times, WBOC and WMDT you should be ashamed of yourself .
All credit goes to Joe Albero SBY NEWS .

Sincerely,

Tracey Powell

  1. TRACY<You said a mouth full. Baltimore Sun had a half page showing the four of you on the steps going to the hearing in annapolis. NothinG in the DAILY RAG.

  2. Where were you WBOC. WMDT, Daily Times? I am sorry that you felt that this was not news for you. Perhaps it is time to think of who the news is for.
Thank you Joe for keeping us once again informed of news.

  3. The local politicians could give a rats ass about anyone but themselves and their close friends.

  4. As I make this statement, I'm confident Jennifer and Tracey will confirm that WBOC & others were ringing their cell phones off the hook yesterday wanting answers.

Both chose not to take time away from being on the floor to answer those calls and also recognized that they were not present, so why should they get the information.

WBOC was begging Jennifer to do a phone interview but she refused and quite frankly I'm very proud of her.

The local media needs to realize that they either WORK for the news and information or they get nothing, in case they haven't noticed why Salisbury News has been "Delmarva's News Leader" for the past few years now, not them.

I hear the other Bloggers are going nuts over this, not thinking about Sarah Foxwell and her unfortunate death.

Jennifer Foxwell took the time yesterday to MAKE HISTORY. Joan Harris has been at this for 6 years trying to get similar legislation passed. I have been working with Delegates and Senators for what, 4 months now and look at what we have accomplished.

Praise Jennifer and Tracey for their hard work and support and quit bashing them because she rode in a car with me to Annapolis.

  5. What a wonderful job folks. You have truly made us proud to know and be a part of your blog Joe. Thank you for all you do, even when at times we might disagree with you on some issues, you are truly for the people and we admire you greatly for that.

  6. You're just using them for hits on your blog. Everyone knows your true intentions.

  7. JR you're a piece of shit. As much as I hate Joe, that comment was out of line. It's time we deal with the community issues at hand and not distract ourselves from the importance of getting rid of child sex offenders instead of personal disputes.

  8. John Robinson, I know both you AND Joe Albero and there is no question you BOTH have BIG HUGE EGOS!

Difference is Joe Albero will put his neck on the line, his butt in gear and his nose to the grindstone to make a difference for the better.

You? You spend your time on here jealously putting him down when he helped make a difference.

Note I did not say he alone made the difference. He helped.

I say this not liking most of what Albero puts on his blog.

But I'll give him credit it where it's due.

You don't want to celebrate the progress on this law, fine. But I'm going to, and as much as I got my issues with Joe Albero, I'll give him his pat on the back.

Your comment is a bad reflection on you, not him.

But I'm not surprised by that. You'd be a decent guy if you grew up a little instead of showing up here to pout.

  9. How about you ninnies out there buy more advertising, and then local media can afford to send reporters two hours away for a single story!

  11. Joe - you are a wonderful person for taking them to Annapolis and helping to ensure they are heard. But, I'm confused - just last week, there was all this hate going back and forth between you and Jennifer - writings on facebook, etc. What happened? Don't get me wrong - I want everyone to get along - I just don't understand and am not sure what to believe these days.

  12. I am glad that the family chose to do this. It has to be so difficult, particularly with the way that people have treated the family. My hats off to all of you. We should all continue to pray for this family. I can't even begin to imagine their loss. God bless you. Joe, as always great work.

  17. You know 6:07, WBOC can afford to send a reporter there. And can fly them in their helicoptor. Or wait. They were to busy taking video of Trappe.

I'd like to chime in on Mr. Robinson. Sir, if you are reading this, you are certainly out of line. A friend of mine also shared with me that you have been recently making comments to the effect that if Ms. Foxwell was a better parent, this would have never happened. I don't know if that is true, but if it is, I think you might need to spend a little more time seriously observing the sabbath. Sarah's family will suffer forever, carrying the burden and pain of this loss. Your comments towards Mr. Alberto and Sarah's family (if true) are out of line and quite insensitve. As for your comments posted here, Mr. Alberto could certainly delete them and ignore you, but he elected to post them to share a bit of insight regarding your character. I would think an appology is in order to him, and I sincerely hope that the comments I heard that you allegedly made towards that family (again, if true) need to be addressed. Shame on you, and your lack of compassion towards the Foxwell/Hahn family.

  19. It's because they know they can't keep up with Joe....

  20. WBOC was too busy asking their Facebook fans if they were going to try that nasty looking 'Double Down' KFC sandwich to bother with real news. Yes, I'm a fan of theirs on FB but only for a little comic relief in the midst of my day.

  21. Joe, our favorite douchebag JR is going off on another blog saying he did not make this comment and that you are violating your agreement with the SA office. Seriously, is he stupid enough to think that he is the only John Robinson in the world? Wait, I know the answer. BTW I thought he never read your blog, so how did he know the comment was there? Busted,Ahole.

  22. WBOC was too busy covering "news" in DELAWARE - like they always do. They don't give a hoot about Maryland issues.
