Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On April 1, 2010 at approximately 6:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect for the burglary of a business on December 30, 2009. On that date the suspect broke into a local clothing business and took a large amount of property. During the investigation, a quantity of the stolen clothing was recovered at several local residences. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

On April 1, 2010 at approximately 11:31 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Hazel Avenue and stopped a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations. When stopped, the suspect immediately exited the vehicle and attempted to elude the officer. The suspect was stopped and checked, and found to be in possession of a smoking device containing suspected "crack/cocaine" residue.

On April 2, 2010 at approximately 1:41 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on E. Locust Street for the report of a loud party. Upon arrival the officers located a party with in excess of two hundred (200) occupants. As the officers cleared the party, the below listed suspect became disorderly and refused to cooperate with the officers. As the officers attempted to calm the suspect, the suspect continued to yell at the officers causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. The officers checked the suspect’s information and found that the suspect was wanted on an outstanding District Court bench warrant.

On April 2, 2010 at approximately 6:40 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Centre at Salisbury for the report of subjects refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival the officers met with Centre Security who advised that several subjects had been asked to leave the property due to prohibited behavior. All subjects complied and left the property with the exception of the below listed suspect. The below suspect refused to comply with Security and began to shout profanities at Security, then Salisbury Officers. The suspect refused to comply with officers and was taken into custody.
