Joe,
What has happened to Orioles Baseball on the radio? The NEW 95.9 THE SPORTS ANIMAL was running Orioles baseball until just recently. I called the station and they told me that they are no longer affiliated with the Orioles. That doesn't make sense. How can you run two weeks of Orioles games and now you are no longer an Orioles affiliate. Did 95.9 drop the Orioles because they are off to a slow start? Last Sunday I turned them on and they were playing two things on the air at the same time. Not just for a few minutes, BUT ALL FRICKIN' DAY! I like the idea of having a sports station on FM, but they suck. Does anyone else carry the Orioles around here?

ive heard them on 92.5 WICO
ReplyDeleteWhile it is true that we are no longer able to offer O’s games on the radio, we are willing to send someone to your house or business to kick you in the crotch 3 times during the game. Our research indicates that this is more humane and less time consuming that forcing you to listen to an entire Orioles broadcast.
ReplyDeleteXM radio is the way to go. You catch EVERY baseball game, and you have an unlimited choice of music and talk shows. Well worth the $10/month

ReplyDelete95.9 indicated they would gain more advertising revenue from broadcasting the sounds of grass growing, paint drying and finger nails on a chalk board than they would from an Orioles game. Count your blessings...
Ironic that you would write "they suck" in a letter written about the Orioles but not actually be referring to the Orioles
ReplyDeleteI agree, XM is the best choice for MLB on the radio.
ReplyDeleteOff to a slow start? They haven't had a winning season in 13 years! Hell they only won 6 more games then the NATS did last year.
ReplyDeleteYou realize that all there games are on TV?? Either channel 10,30 or 33.
ReplyDeleteWow people are mean.
ReplyDeleteall i know is i want 96 rock back.
ReplyDeleteyea, 92.5 is the radio station that covers them this year.
