Hostess Turns In Almost $1,000.00

Last Thursday some friends of mine went into The Greene Turtle in Salisbury to enjoy a meal. When they went to pay for it, (after just coming from the Bank) they pulled out their envelope with almost $1,000.00 in it and paid their bill.

Days later they went to get the envelope and realized it was gone. After thinking about it they realized the last time they had their cash they had been in the Greene Turtle and the Wife said, let me call them and see if they someone turned it in. The Husband immediately said, are you out of your mind, no one is going to turn that kind of cash in nowadays.

Ignoring that statement she called the Greene Turtle in Salisbury and low and behold the manager said that their Hostess Brye Marth found the envelope and immediately turned it into management and it's sitting in their safe.

My hat is tipped to The Greene Turtle, especially Brye Marth. Way To Go! My friends are on their way in right now to collect their cash.

UPDATE: In case any of you are interested, Brye Marth is working today as the Hostess. She's a College Student at SU and comes from Montgomery County. The cash amount returned was, $951.35.

  7. I think maybe Brye's parents also need a pat on the back as well for mentoring this young lady in proper values. And, in other news, if you are lucky enough to have $1,000 in cash these days...well, to be honest..you shouldn't have been carrying $1,000 to a bar to start with. Given wicomico's BURGLARY/HOME INVASION rate; you should be very thankful that someone didn't take the easy way out while their house is facing foreclosure and resort to "finders keepers."
