  5. wboc said officials say there was no drug manufacturing suspected that may of caused the explosion, after hearing that i wondered why they would even say or consider that, but then again, after listning to the man they interviewed which i believe was just about as drunk as a skunk as you could ever get, well i guess i see why now. there was nothing funny about what has happened here at all,but that man wboc had on was almost like listning to a comedian the way he explained it! WOW!

  12. I'm the sister of this family. First let me clear something up. The man who was interviewed and was "drunk as a skunk" had just experienced the most tramatic thing he could. He saw first hand the house blow up! He was there before anyone else. He had to help them because noone else had made it there yet and HE DID! That man has a heart condition and I'm surprised he didn't have a heart attack that night. That sweet old man pulled his loved ones from that house. So if he had a beer to calm his nerves that's none of your business. Some people are shallow hurtful and vindictive. Should we include you? My family is not drug dealers or drug manufacturers whatever you want to call it. My brother is a hard working construction worker and my sister in law works at the hospital. Quit being so harsh and think about what you write!

  13. how in the earth could the neighbors tell policethat they suspected then to be drugs/use going on can some one explain this how could they suspected that when they had just moved in to the house a couple of hours before the house blew up. what people would do for attention. Why does people have to make fun of people. That poor person just witness a tragic to his family pulled them out heard them poor babies crying and in pain. could not get the man out because he was traped so after all this he went and had a beer what right do you have to judge. It was a mirecal of God that watch over this family The best thing you can do is to help this family out donate money or buy some toys or clothes. don't point fingers. To let you all know I knowthis family they are very sweet family. When my dad Passed last January this family was there at the hopita and some came to his funeral they drove over 3 hours each way to show there love and what are some of you doin know nothing put making fun of someone going and having a beer or even thinking it was from drugs. I hope they get to the real reason why this house exploded. To the bradford family and al relatives my heart and prayrs go outto you all

  15. Stolen copper gas lines caused the blast that destroyed a home in Laurel on Monday and put the residents to the hospital, the state Fire Marshal's Office announced Friday.

"The leak was caused by the copper lines located beneath the dwelling being cut and stolen prior to the victim's moving into the residence," the marshal's office stated in a release.

The family had just moved into their home on Dogwood Lane in Laurel when the explosion demolished the house, sending the residents to the hospital with injuries ranging from burns to broken bones.

The marshal's office has requested anyone with information concerning the theft of copper lines or copper wiring to call the office at 302-856-5600, the Del. State Police Troop 4 at 302-856-5850, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
