An Evening With Bill Cosby Has Been Cancelled

Broadway in Salisbury’s Production of An Evening with Bill Cosby has been cancelled

The Wicomico Youth & Civic Center regrets to announce that An Evening with Bill Cosby has been cancelled. The show, scheduled for Sunday, May 9 at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales.

All ticket holders will receive a complete refund. If you purchased your tickets by credit card at the box office, via phone or online, a refund will be issued automatically. Refunds for those who purchased tickets with cash will be issued at the Civic Center Box Office beginning Monday, April 26 at 10:00am. Ticket holders will need to bring their ticket to the Box Office during regular business hours for a refund. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Broadway in Salisbury Subscribers will obtain refunds automatically via check that will be mailed out within four weeks.

  1. doesn't surprise me. Most of the people who would go to a show like that are older now. Maybe ages 5-60 and with the economy being what it is, with encroaching health issues, and with his humor being somewhat stale - I didn't figure they would sell over 1500-2000 tickets. Wonder how many they sold?

  12. Salisbury does deserve better, but who is the one scheduling these things? Maybe that person needs to be replaced. Way overpriced anyway.

  15. At least Bill Cosby isn't afraid to tell young black men to stop blaming white people for their problems and to start being men, get jobs, take care of their children and be productive members of society. I don't see anything wrong with this kind of talk.
