Do You Agree Or Disagree?

  1. Depends on who "they" are. Broken down by IQ, there may be a case. Many believe, rightfully so that George W. Bush was the worst President. There are plenty of facts to back that up if one bothers to look objectively at the evidence and form an opinion of their own. Sadly most of the minions on this blog and participants of the teabag movement are lazy and get their opinions from Faux Noise, Talk Radio and of course the World Nut Daily.

  2. Agree! The one we have now is sending us up the creek or is to hell in a handbasket. Either way we are going?

  3. G.W. Bush will be considered and great president in the future as long as the liberals don't write the history books. Obama is clueless and just a Pelosi puppet. Yes Jimmy is in good company now.

In case you didn't see the recent poll, the tea party members are above average in education, income and many other categories than the public in general. So I guess it is you Obamabots that are out of touch with reality. You know who I mean you PMSNBC, Daily Kook Blog, and talk radio, such as Ed Shultz listeners.

  5. Bush might not have been the worst but he sure was the dumbest. Carter and Obama are neck and neck for the worst president title. Give it time, he will pass the peanut planter soon enough.

  8. Neither Carter or Obama have sent us to war under false pretence. That alone makes Bush the worse President ever.

  11. He isn't, George Bush is, and always will be. Although this new one is running a good second place.

  12. 11:27....Congress "sent us to war"..although all you Dems seem to forget that. And people like Biden and Gore and Kerry and Clinton all saw the same intel and all agreed to go into Iraq.

Nice job trying to rewrite history.

  13. GW Bush is going to be regarded as one of the worst Presidents by historians, and fairly or unfairly most of that will be due to his Iraq machinations. Every boneheaded decision that could be made, he made, and wound us into the pointless and horrific quagmire of the Iraq War.

Re "intelligence" Bush is not stupid by any stretch of the imagination. He's simply intellectually lazy and preferred clean black and white judgments even if they were 180 degrees wrong. This is not a good Presidential trait where you are loooking for someone to make balanced and nuanced judgments about the best interests of the US in a complex world.

  14. W is the worst president of my lifetime.
    1. 9/11 attack
    2. Mishandling of Iraq war.
    3. Turned a 150 billion/year surplus into a 600 billion/year deficit.
    4. Closed out two terms with a near Great Depression.

And he left it all for Obama to clean up.

  15. yeah Bill...9/11 was all Bush's fault even though all the planning took place on Clinton's watch.

Bush certainly did mishandle the war and he certainly did spend more than he should have...but he also "inherited" the dot com bust that Clinton left him. Further, Bush did warn the likes of Chris Dodd and Barney Frank of the need to reign in Fannie and Freddie...Chris was too wrapped up in getting his sweetheart loan and Barney felt that Freddie and Fannie were just fine. You seem to forget who controlled Congress and financial oversight on the leadup to the meltdown....here's a clue...they still do and they are doing a great job creating job and running up even more obscene needless Federal debt.
