Another Bypass Accident

BRIEF RESUME:

On 04/17/2010 at approximately 1323 hours, troopers from Salisbury Barrack responded to eastbound Rt. 50 at the south bound Rt. 13 bypass merge ramp for a motor vehicle accident. The investigation revealed Vehicle #1 failed to yield the right of way to Vehicle #2 in the intersection of the above location resulting in a two car collision.

As a result of the collision the drive of Vehicle #1, Passenger #2, and Passenger #3 of Vehicle #2 were transported to PRMC for non-life threatening injuries. Due to the collision Rt. 50 in that area was temporally shut down for the safety of emergency responders. The driver of Vehicle #1 was charged with the appropriate citations. All events occurred in Wicomico County, MD.
