Celebrate Spring At Pemberton Historical Park

(Salisbury, MD) Pemberton Historical Park will be holding a Spring into Spring 5K Run & Walk on Sunday, March 28 at 9:00 A.M. Participants can enjoy the park’s blooming nature trails of Eastern Shore wetlands, forests and meadows. All proceeds will benefit PHP’s Education Programs. The first 50 registrants will receive a race t-shirt. Early registration is $15; day-of registration is $20. Check in begins at 8:00 A.M. To register, please visit www.wicomicorecandparks.org.

Pemberton Historical Park will also hold their annual Eggstravaganza event on Sunday, March 28, from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. Enjoy egg hunts for ages 2-12, Easter crafts, egg dyeing, games and storytelling. As a special treat, a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey clown will make an appearance at the event. During the egg hunt, children will also have the chance to search for eggs containing a free ticket voucher for the upcoming circus performance at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on April 1-4, 2010. The Eggstravaganza is $6 per child and guardians accompanying children are admitted free of charge.
