The Willards Elementary School PTA is preparing for their 7th Annual Fundraising Benefit Auction. This event will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Willards Elementary School. We will begin the evening at 4:00pm with food prepared and sold by the Powellville Volunteer Fire Company. The live auction will begin at 6:00pm.
The main function of the PTA is to provide our children with the highest quality of learning materials possible. All of the money earned is directly spent on enhancing our students’ education. Last year’s fundraising made it possible for us to purchase agendas and parent contact folders, to hold fall and spring spirit weeks for our students, to pay for an artist in residence program for our 2nd graders and to pay for assemblies throughout the year for all of the students at Willards Elementary School.
We have requested and received donations from many area businesses; and we are grateful for these. If any other businesses or individuals would like to make any donations, we would glady accept them. In return, we will advertise that your business made a donation towards our event. Packages will be created for the live and silent auctions. Any contributions will be extremely appreciated.
