To Those Of You Nagging Me About Road Conditions....
Look, we have produced photos of large trucks run off the road and these are professionals.
We are working to get out there ourselves to help others in need and let me assure you, I wouldn't be going anywhere if it weren't for that.
So my suggestion to you is, stay home, stay off the roads. Most of the side roads are single lanes and have not even been plowed yet. If you want to go somewhere, I suggest you walk, like we used to do in the old days.
Maybe when we return I can deliver some photos. That being said, if any of you who happen to have the proper vehicles to get out there can take some pictures and send them to us we'll be happy to post them later this evening.
Thanks for the photo Stephanie.
Great day to cook. I have chicken in one crock pot, meatballs in another, and getting ready to make eggs and hot sausage for breakfast!
ReplyDeleteI am really ticked off. The state roads has come thru our neighborhood again (and it didn't even need it) and plowed up in our yard and got a sprinkler head. Really annoyed with them but not sure who to complain to.
ReplyDeleteOcean Pines/Berlin area roads are relatively clear & o.k. to drive on.
ReplyDeletePeople need to stop the b*tching, period.
ReplyDeleteThis was an historic storm.
Road crew people have been out morning noon and night since Friday. DPL & Choptank people, the same.
To all the people who have been gracious to the workers, helpful to their neighbors and supportive of the government officials and workers knocking themselves out to deal with this, a hearty GOD BLESS YOU!
In World War II, people rolled up their sleeves and worked together. They didn't sit behind a computer and b*tch all day.
Joe, if you are going to get out to help people, God Bless You too. But don't feel you have to so to please complaining readers.
Tell them I have bootstraps I can give them to pull themselves up by.
My break's over, back to it, just because I should and no other reason.
Joe and Bruce just finished cleaning my walk and Joe was really in a sweat.
ReplyDeleteWe thank them so much...god bless.

Now if you can just get my district manager to stop nagging me! He just doesn't get that as of now, I still have not seen a snow plow on my street or on Norris Twilley Road. He keeps telling me to "have a plan." Anyone know how I can grow a pair of wings? And what exactly is the point of making the main roads squeaky clean if you can't get to them?
ReplyDeleteNot to be a downer on this day because the lower part of Smith Street shows a giant community effort of shoveling and pushing cars and snow, the college igloo on Ohio is a great piece of sculpture
ReplyDeleteAll this niceness in line I have to say
The next kid to pray for a day off from school needs to be less get it together or else I will ducttape a shovel to their hands and let them clear up the mess
Thanks
Joe and Bruce came by my place also. Wheelchairs and snow don't go together.
ReplyDeleteCan't say thanks enough to either of these two men for the "extra" help that was needed once they got here.
Kimmie
Schumaker Glen in Sby hasn't seen a plow truck yet....aaarrrrggghhh!
ReplyDelete11:34 Call SHA at 600 West Road, file your complaint with Donnie Drewer. The state always paid for any mail boxes we knocked down when plowing I don't know why they wouldn't pay for damages to your property as well.
