  6. Thank you for having school today. It is extremely important for our kids to continue their education. Thank you very much. Thank God for school

  7. The people you should email are Rick Politt and the County Council who cut the County Roads budget by 90% in the hopes that the State would supply all the roads funding. The State cut their roads budget too and here we are with horrible roads....but we could have a nice parking lot next to the Civic Center

  8. Let the parents take them and if they can't make it have a provision to let them make up the work without penalty of having a missed day at school.

  10. And just what would you have Dr. Fredericksen do? Should he keep schools closed until the snow is just about gone? How long do you think that will take? Since obviously there won't be any more plowing, we would have to wait until the sun took care of the snow, and that could be the beginning of March. As for those who haven't shoveled walks, how would you propose they be forced to do so?

7:23 has it right: You should be directing your anger and comments to the County Executive and his Public Works Department for whatever problems with snow removal there were.

11:24--I wouldn't try English until I learned some basic rules of the language, such as capitalizing all languages!

  13. I'm so sick of parents complaining that their kids have been home too long. Why did you even have kids if you can't stand to be around them? And obviously you don't care much about their safety if you just want to ship them off to school on these roads in bad condition.
