Support Local Restaurants In Bad Weather

"Please Folks get out and support your local restaurants! Another weekend snow storm is more then many of us can take. If you can get out, do so and show your love and support for your favorite local restaurant.

We will have all our restaurants open today(Sunday), including Sobos. We will be running specials all day trying to get our employees some hours/tips. We would love to see you out at Boonies, Specific Gravity , or Sobo's, Or one of our many friends lie Brew River, Market Street Inn, Vinny's La Roma and Adam's Ribs.

Thanks again for all your support"

  2. off the subject.Bruce Kelly from county roads left a county employee stuck out plowing from 9 pm last night and as of 8:30 this morning he is still there. Trying to get him out now. Not a good thing. My understanding is that people made complaints a few roads not plowed yet. Sent sent him out after dinner.A neighbor on the area brought him some coffee this morning

  5. I am stuck!!! Even if I had 4wd I couldn't get out. I understand though that there are other routes that need to be plowed. On a side note I am sure that the restraunts will make their money more than back when all of this melts and everyone has cabin fever!

  9. Everyone should just stay home for the game. Have no control over mother nature.

  10. all restuarants are suffering over these past couple weekends. Just because we aren't local owned doesn't mean the employees aren't suffering from not working just the same.

  12. People really need to stay off the roads. Businesses need to realize they may be losing a little money but it keeps everyone safe at home while the roads are being cleared. I would rather be home than stuck in a ditch on a back road or underneath a snow plow fighting for my life.

A weekend at home is not going to hurt any of us!

  14. Supporting our local businesses is a great idea, but not at the price of risking life, limb, and vehicles.
The roads are bad enough as it is, but to go out to superbowl party, drink and drive is nutz!!!! It is not an accident waiting to happen, it is an accident looking for a place to happen.

  16. People that venture out in a storm for no good reason has nothing to complain about when they find themselves stuck in the snow, in a ditch somewhere. They have no one to blame but themselves. If you are to stupid to stay indoors out of harms way then shame on you. It's not like we had no warning about this storm.

  17. I don't remember ever signing a contract at birth saying I had to slave away at a job to provide a comfortable life for government employees or for that matter society or the business owners themselves. So many brainwashed people droning on with outdated ideas. If you want to work 18 hours a day have it, I think you're foolish as in the end the government is going to take your money and you'll be in the grave with nothing to show for it.
