We just received word that Sam's Club and WalMart North have closed their doors. Hat tip to both these companies. No one should be out in this mess and now you know not to go there.
yeah but its a shame that it takes the mayor telling businesses (mall) they have to close before they do.some retailer dont give a sh** about nothing but the money.
Wal-Mart in Fruitland should close! The roof is leaking. They've got trash cans all around the inside of the store collecting water. This is dangerous in so many ways. Be safe if you go inside!
It is great that they closed but they really should have let their employees know. My son called to make sure they were open before I drove him to work. By the time we got there they were closing.
You would think that a company that large would have something in place to notify the employees of closures such as this!
what really crazy is that people have to risk their lives and go to work or they could possibly lose their jobs.i understand that there are certain jobs that go on no matter what the condition, but speaking of retailers.centre @ salisbury, walmart etc...the public can go a few days without shopping.i also think that the management in these places are partly to blame, but when they are held responsible for someone getting hurt in an accident for no allowing them to leave or telling them they have to come in maybe then they will listen.
Ok, I was wrong. Wife just called on her way home now.
ReplyDeleteBut the Walgreens in the area are still open and plan to stay open.
ReplyDeletewell all business will be closed if salisbury is in a state of emergency.

ReplyDeleteIt's called the roofs are at their weight limit and Walmart has done nothing to clear them.
ReplyDeleteFruitland does have an extremely leaky roof. It's just not safe.
ReplyDeleteI hope the inconsiderate restaurant chains also close as most of them employ teenagers and have no consideration for their safety.
