Lots Of Catching Up To Do

I have just returned from my day trip to Annapolis today and finished moderating comments. Now it's time to get to work once again.

Just as a teaser, I sure do miss Annapolis! I'll be back.

Me too but only as a brief visitor. Residents pay income taxes to the State, the County, and the City. Annapolis also has State Police, County Police, and General Services Police. The Speaker of the House has a full time AA County job in addition to the Legislative job. He also has TWO Chiefs of Staff.

I lived in AA County for 35 years but escaped when things went downhill beyond help.

  4. I'm with you on that one Al. When I sold my home 10+ years ago in AA County the property taxes were something like $8,900.00 a year! I'd hate to see what they are today.

  9. Joe 5:09 If you really want to know you can check it out in "Maryland Real property" search. Just put in the county - click on street address - fill in street number (not really necessary) - fill in Street name (only the street name
example: for 100 Main Street you would type "main". Read instructions carefully and you will have no problem. I like this site to keep up with property sales.
