Joint Investigation Leads To Marijuana Arrest

Conspiracy 2nd degree

Resume:

Delaware State Police Tuesday February 2, 2010 obtained a search warrant for a residence located in the 200 block of Main Street Leipsic, Delaware. The search warrant was part of an on going investigation into marijuana distribution in Kent County. The search warrant was also for a white Dodge Intrepid.

State Police Drug Task Force on February 2, 2010 observed this white Dodge Intrepid leave their residence and drive toward the limits of Dover to a local Motel. State Troopers conducted a vehicle traffic stop on the Dodge Intrepid after it had left the Motel. The Dodge was driven by Dawn Wescott-28 of Leipsic and had as passengers William L. Wescott 3rd-31 and Desiree Sinex-33 both of Leipsic.

State Troopers searched the vehicle and located approximately 127 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle contained in 3 separate plastic baggies and multiple roach clips (drug paraphernalia).

State Troopers then executed a search of the Main Street Leipsic residence and located 6 juvenile’s ages 3 months, 5, 6, 9, 12, and14. The children were left alone in this residence which contained illegal drugs. Upon searching this residence approximately 2 additional grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located throughout the residence. Delaware State Police additionally contacted the Department of Family Services do to the deplorable living conditions at this residence.

State Police contacted the Dover Police Department concerning this investigation who also conducted a search warrant at the Dover area Motel where additional illegal substances were seized. Please contact Dover Police Public Information Officer concerning specific details.

The three defendants were arrested for the above listed offenses and remanded to their respective correctional facilities.

  4. My god those poor kids. WHY do people continue to breed like freakin rabbits if they are NOT going to take care of them? I just do not understand! I'm sure they are getting benefits through the government. Sucking it up! Waste of human life! TRASH!!!!!

  8. Pot drug whore... ha ha! Thanks for the laugh as never heard of someone whoring themselves for pot as it is non-addictive. And think about that sterilization thing the next time you drink or pop a pill.

  9. the sad part is that the people criticizing more than likely DRINK ALCOHOL!!!! There own ignorance prevents them from seeing that they are a thousand times more dangerous to themselves, their children, and society as a whole. My opinion is that EVERYTHING should be legal in the land of the free. From there, natural selection will take care of the ones who cannot handle it and society will beneifit from the loss of those people. We all know this government and something MUST be illegal... so why not make the most dangerous drug illegal... ban alcohol, legalize marijuana

  10. Maybe people should mind their own business especially if they do not know the whole story. Yes it is ashame for those children, but the lord teaches us to help people who are in these situations not to continue to condem them. If the lord never forgived anyone we would all be going to hell. People in these situations need our help not our negativity........
