Here's The Shore Bank Robber UPDATE: POLICE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!
Anyone with information about this individual needs to make contact with the Salisbury Police Department or Crime Solvers.
On February 27, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. the Salisbury Police Department responded to 1503 S. Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, Maryland 21804, the business of Shore Bank concerning a robbery. An investigation was then commenced and the following information was developed: an unknown white male entered the bank at approximately 10:00 a.m. wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and his head appeared to be balding. This particular male did not make a transaction in the bank and left the bank shortly after entering.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. bank representatives indicated that the same white male re-entered the bank wearing different clothing. This particular male was described as a white male, wearing a camouflage hat, blue jeans, and blue denim style jacket, with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath, black wire rimmed glasses. On both occasions the male was described as being approximately 5-08, 180 pounds, 30 to 40 years of age, with light facial hair.
On the second occasion the male suspect came into the bank and produced a note and demanded U.S. currency. The male suspect fled the bank on foot with an un-disclosed amount of U.S. currency.
Salisbury Police Department detectives are looking for assistance in identifying and locating the male pictured in the attached video. Please contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410)548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410)548-1776 if you have information as to the identity of the male in the video, you may remain anonymous.
You cant get images that can be magnified? These are really small, clear but small.
ReplyDeleteThe Bald guy looks like a street guy that is always around downtown. He hangs up on tracks and I am sure that if he is that guy, everyone has seen him as well, Vick Keene probably knows him by name.
ReplyDeleteAmazing that they aren't aware they're being photographed. That's a good thing, of course.
ReplyDeletethe pictures of the guy without the hat kinda look like joe bishop the hobo guy that hangs out with all the other hobos on the railroad tracks behind the med center and napa autoparts
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter the size if you knew him you would know. I think this one can plead the insanity defense, cuz I don't think he will get off with the most stupid robber defense.
ReplyDeleteHe kinda looks like that panhandler that hangs out around the Wawa near the hospital. Except he dresses better.
ReplyDeleteHow come everybody always ask for your help but puts up way too small pictures?
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to banks putting dye packs with the money when they get robbed? This would help catch thev thieves.
ReplyDeletei think his name is timmy i wait on him all the time. Yes he is a panhandler and walks all over town...
ReplyDelete607,,i know who you are. work patrol and stop crying.
ReplyDeleteIt really looks like that panhandler guy. Even the posture is right.
ReplyDeleteSecurity cameras only have a certain resolution, so small pictures. Quit whining
ReplyDeleteIve seen this guy at the Walmart South near the picknic table or smokers area. I think hes homeless or a street person.
ReplyDeleteStill stumped as to why the employees are just handing over the goods. All these people have to do is hand the person a note? Come on. Unless they have a gun pointed at my head, I'm going to make it a bit more difficult for them to walk out the door.
ReplyDeleteanonymous 10:26, I'm confident it is protocol for all employees to turn over the money, period.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way for the employees to know if the perp has a gun under his jacket or in his pocket. The protocol is to give them the money to prevent them from bringing out the gun and shooting someone. I know, I have worked in a bank that was robbed years ago - before that change in policy. The perp did bring out a gun and shot the teller next to me. I quit my job the next day.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you risk 25 years for so little money.
ReplyDeleteHave seen this guy around wawa asking for change. Have also seen him hanging out around under the overpass. Walks the streets all the time. shouldnt be hard to locate this man and identify him.
ReplyDeletenice clothes if he is a panhandler.
ReplyDeleteHe might be getting tired of camping out, begging (times are getting harder) and being cold. Three hots and a cot in state minimum security might sound like a good deal. If this is the guy I think it is, he might even qualify for a mental facility.
ReplyDelete12:22 Because he wants to go to jail to watch that widescreen t.v., get a gym membership, and eat well.
ReplyDeleteok, in this county alone, 11 bank robberies in a year. Hmmmm! I think this should tell banks, time to change how things are run. If it were my bank, I wouldn't any indoor service period!! Times have changed, and the banks need to change. Only drive through service should be made available. Protect the banks!! Most banks have internet websites, heck I do most of my banking online anyways. And other than that, it's through the drive thru service.
ReplyDeleteThose two men in the pictures look different to me. Doesn't look like the same man!
Joe, you are a 100% right. Banks will hand over the money in any instance of a hold up. It is not worth the risk to the people in the bank or working at the bank for the few thousand someone can get.
ReplyDeletethe more i look at this guy the more i am certain that it is Joe Bishop the Hobo from around the railroad tracks behind the napa store
ReplyDeleteIf it is the guy we think it is, there will be some drug/alcohol rehab involved after arrest.
ReplyDeleteWhat Happened to the DYE PACKS????
ReplyDeleteHe stayed at the hotel my sister works at (one of the nicer in town) on Saturday night. Apparently the police didn't arrest him but are investigating the money.
ReplyDeleteCome on someone out there has seen this jerk before..
ReplyDeletei saw this gut today and called the police told them where he was and what he was wearing .... then watched and waited and nothing no cops showed or anything you would think that the SPD and Sheriffs Dept would have swarmed this guy just to investigate but nope nothing .... they must not want him that bad
ReplyDeletei don't know who it is, but i know that is not joe bishop and ur wrong joe. re read the description. five eight 180 pounds joe is not that tall and is definately heavier than 180 he also is not nowhere hear 3040 years old. try like 55.
ReplyDeleteGoudrey.
ReplyDeleteThis is not Joe Bishop you guys. Joe has a ft. and a half hair. Whats wrong with you people. This guy is someone like you that has a morgage the cant pay. Joe is also about 225 pounds. Sound like someone is out to get Old Hobo Joe.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what is the law regarding armed robbery without proof of a concealed weapon? Is it a lighter sentence if a piece of paper is the only weapon, or is the charge different based on how the note is written?
ReplyDelete2:13 some depend on shore transit for transportation some do not have internet
ReplyDeleteOk 8:10pm...where was he?
ReplyDeleteI heard another cop at SPD bit the dust. True?
