Funny How One Year Goes By So Quickly

Start the countdown. Only 14 more years of payments left on this puppy.

  1. We need a count of how many times this truck was even needed over their other trucks.

  2. The volunteers and not the city are saddled with the payments on this and the firehouse. The city soaks the volunteers for every penny the can squeeze out of them. The city wouldnt have anything if there were no volunteer funding. Banker Gordy does the squeezing.

  3. This truck was needed to replace a 30 year old death trap. We didnt need a ladder at Station 1. We wanted to keep our tanker and we were threatened and made to buy a ladder that we didnt need. Theres $750,000 of waste for you Joe. They took our 1994 Engine 1 that ran fine and made us buy a ladder. They told us they would shut us down if we didnt give Gordy the money. That Engine is now in Hazelton Pa. and they love it.

  6. We seriously need to consider a settlement with Gordo. How much would our City have to pay him, to convince him to simply stop VOLUNTEERING his services?
