City Hall will be closed on Thursday and there will be no trash pickup.

ReplyDeleteto their credit, the men were out there today picking up the trash. my husband and I tried calling city hall all morning to find out if trash pick up was canceled. no one was there answering phones. we had just decided it was too miserable out there and surely they wouldn't be coming when we saw the truck coming down the street with two guys walking behind it. the men did a great job in this mess, especially since they had to chase down a lot of people's trash. we sent some hot chocolate out for them as a thank you! they really went above a beyond today!
ReplyDeleteI could not believe they picked up trash today. I had called but no answer at city hall so figured they wouldn't but those guys deserve a big hand. I know they had to be freezing hanging off back of truck. Thanks guys.

ReplyDeleteWhy wasn't some message recorded on the City Hall phone system to let people know they were closed? Certainly they could have done that much with all the taxes we pay!
ReplyDeletei posted the 0815 comment about high taxes..I AM SORRY....those men did a great job my trash goes out to them!!!they have also done great work in maintaing our community of Eastfields.our streets have been plowed several times,the police have made their regular patrols and my thanks goes to those men and woman.i have seen my tax dollars at work, thank you
