5 For $5.95 At Arby's

Training Wheels?
The new Hazmat Tractor Trailer was cruising around Salisbury today. With all the snow and ice on the roads, I'm sure this was a precautionary measure, just in case something happened. In the mean time guys, Arby's has a 5 for $5.95 deal, since you were headed that way.

  5. We were conducting drivers training with the instructor for class "A" license. The four of us and the instructor stopped for lunch then continued on about our business.

  7. Just another Big Toy that they dont need at our expense. What good is the truck if you dont have the people to do the work.

  8. Hey, hang out at SECU Branch on State payday. The SFD will not be the ONLY organization crowding the parking lot.

  9. Everyone is going to love that thing if we ever need it(God forbid). It's kind of like a generator, you don't ever use it unless the power goes out but you are glad you bought it even though it was expensive.

  10. 4:52 I don't normally wish misfortune on people but I really do hope you have a HazMat incident at your home or workplace (if you have either) and nobody shows up. That would make me giggle. Good day to you sir/mam.

  12. Roast Beef comes out of a crock-pot with potatoes and carrots. Then use some juice with some juice strengthener and roll out your dumplins. Thats Roast Beef. Oh, dont buy shitty rolls, sister shueberts would be my choice.

  13. 7:21 - Personally I don't think any public service or private sector businesses should test or train on ANY of their equipment until it needs to be used.

The crew of a cruise ship should never use or train with the proper deployment of lifeboats or life vests until they are needed in an actual emergency.

The military should never train how to drive tanks or humvees until the moment of battle.

Infantry should just point rifles at targets and make believe they are hitting the right spot. Do you know how expensive bullets can be?

Teachers should wait until school day one before making or using any teaching aids like computers, powerpoints or handouts. They should probably not even learn the subject they're teaching until the first day of school. Wouldn't it be more fun just to instruct people how to teach and then let them pick the subject they're going to teach out of a hat on the first day of school?

    Bottom line...you're an idiot.

  14. Snow and ice??? Where? You can't have it both ways, Joe. You say the schools should be open due to NO snow and ice but the truck shouldn't be on the road due to them HAVING snow and ice. Which one is it?

  16. Letter to the Editor:

I heard a rumor today and I hope it is just that a rumor.

I heard that Acting Chief Rick Hoppes hired back David Cox as a firefighter for the Salisbury Fire Department. This David Cox is the same person that got arrested for driving a fake police car and impersonating a police officer.

Mr. Albero I know you are always on top of things so I am asking you if this is true or not? Can someone please fill us in on the truth of the matter?

  17. At least they had a reason to be out. I saw a snow plow truck sitting at the Walmart Fruitland parking lot today with people eating there lunch in it. I wonder why we are paying for that when there was no snow to worry about???

  18. Are they not allowed to eat lunch? And maybe they were out in case they were needed as opposed to having to get truck ready? How do you know they had not just done something! Why do we always have to bash someone! We should be thankful for what we have!

  19. I just found out that the Salisbury Fire Department put on a week long Hazmat Technician certification course in house. Can anyone verify that this course was taught by a person that wasn't even a qualified instructor? This is serious business and needs to be investigated immediately.
