Cardinals quarterback rose from free agency to Pro Bowl star
Kurt Warner has called an end to one of the great storybook careers in NFL history.
The 38-year-old quarterback announced his retirement from the game on Friday after a dozen years in a league that at first rejected him, then revered him as he came from nowhere to lead the lowly St. Louis Rams to two Super Bowls, winning the first of them.
Written off as a has-been, he rose again to lead the long-suffering Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl a year ago.

ReplyDeleteHe retired with a QB rating of 93.7. He was selected for 5 probowls. He's a superbowl Champion, Superbowl MVP and he hold a lot of other NFL records. To say hes borderline is just plain stupid.

ReplyDeleteI think Kurt Warner certainly deserve the hone of being inducted into the football hall of fame. His record of accomplishments are very admirable and he ranks among the best to have played the position of quarterback.
