Salisbury Woman Dies 1-19-10 From Gunshot 14 Months Ago

Carlisa Abbott was a vibrant young lady shot 14 months ago on Booth Street in Salisbury. Unfortunately she passed away over the weekend due to complications from the shooting.

It is my understanding that Issac Fields, (charged with the shooting) is already serving 25 years in prison right now for another crime. The States Attorney's Office has charged Fields with murder today by a Circuit Court Indictment.

    The local MSM sure didn't cover this story since her death.

    if im remembering correctly she was shot in the throat at the booth street apartments, where she lived. i think she had like 4 kids, too. what a shame...

    Yea the deputies at the scene did an awesome job. W.B.I. and Homicide did a great job as well.

    What a sad case. Thugs doing what they do best. terrorizing a community.

    Please do not spectulate where she was shot. This is her step-mother and I thank those for prayers.
