Why should we send money to a country that most of the ppl have no desire of improving it themselves. Haiti for the most part is a slum and the ppl of Haiti aren't trying to do anything about it. We have ppl in this country that are still without homes from the destruction that Katrina caused. We have homeless and starving here in this country. We should be more worried about helping ppl here at home than sending money to help ppl that don't want to help themselves
Joe, every time I see your show I think to myself, how can he top this show. You have topped it again and encouraged me to watch the next one. I can't say the same for our local media outlets. Great job.
From the interview it looks to me like this cause is trying to help the children of Haiti and a Salisbury couple who are there trying to help children also. . . And by the way children are not expected to have to help themselves with the basics of food and shelter and an education until they become adults, even in our country (Mr. why should we help Haiti). A child is a child no matter where they are from and most of us from here on the Eastern Shore and in our community know the value of caring for children no matter where they are from. NO CHILD DESERVES THE DISASTER THEY ARE LIVING UNDER IN HAITI! Thanks Joe for the information and all you do!!!
Joe I am blown away by your willingness to bring forth the news. When will the main stream media, yes especially WBOC and the Daily Times, realize that this is the kind of stuff that our community and our region called the Eastern Shore wants to see and hear? Great coverage of an international crisis and how Salisbury can be hands on in helping.
