As a conservative Republican I hope the Republicans also got the message. When they were in power in the mid 90's they stayed on plan for a short period of time. They MUST stop spending and follow the will of the people. There is a followup to the contract with America being formed. You can give your imput at contractfromamerica.org. If you enjoyed last night, all I can say is "you ain't seen nothin yet".
I'm an independent voter so I think I can provide a little objective feedback. Yes, Brown's victory is a message but I don't think it quite portends to a sweeping Rep. victory in the coming elections. I say this b/c Coakley was a weak candidate. Her speeches and interviews showed she was nothing but a wet blanket, unwilling to fight for MA, and all about towing the party line. No matter what party you are from, NO ONE wants to vote for a lame candidate such as her. Hats off also to Brown for running a great campaign and for the upset win. Reminds me of president Obama's victory.
anon 1:15pm==I totaly disagree with you.Omaba is making the USA a laughing stock of america with Peeloski Reid and the rest of his cronies.People want their seats back.
to anon 115PM --- If I did not know better, you sound just like the guy I dumped about a year ago because he thought just like you.....will never give someone full credit, always having the last word (i.e. Obama's victory) HA HA! Are you sure you are not a democrat?
6:44, yes I am quite sure. It's called taking an objective look at the full picture.
And as great a campaign as Obama ran, he also took advantage of the fact that Hillary's campaign sucked and conservatives were never enamored by McCain.
Awesome !
ReplyDeleteWell put. Do you think the Dem's will listen now? Going to be hard to teach that old dog a new trick.
