Resume:

Delaware State Police is currently on scene of an accident northbound SR 1 Coastal Highway involving a single vehicle.

The roadway is currently shut down do to approximately 11 other vehicles reported to be sideways in the same vicinity however not directly involved.

The roadways are extremely hazardous statewide and State Police are asking all motorist to limit their driving in these hazardous conditions. Currently State Police statewide is experiencing high volumes of traffic crashes.
