  1. I love it! The message is becoming more clear all the time. Unfortunately Washington isn't getting it. My my how surprised they're going to be when the alarm goes off.

  2. Honest question here. What has this administration done to limit gun rights? I just don't recall any major initiatives over the past year, but maybe I missed something with all the health care and war coverage.

  5. I dont see a reason to ban guns. Its people who kill people with guns. If they say guns kill then they should cars, plans, beer, ciggs, knives, sords, trains etc.... Anyone can use a legal item and use it for a weapon, not just a gun.

  13. You know Mark, you're right. The real problem, however, is that any regulation is an infringement which is a direct and flagran violation of the 2nd amendment. If the courts and fed. govt. were doing what they were supposed to be doing they would have protected those rights rather than duplicate the violations made by the states. They should have stepped in and said "NO you will NOT pass laws that serve to eliminate the right of Americans to defend themselves". And any arguments that try to make a point that "what do you want everyone running around shooting each other?" won't work. Statistics show that there has been a marked decrease in crime in every state that has loosened up on concealed carry regulations. That dog won't hunt. What part of "......shall not be infringed" do they not understand.

  14. I'm with 10:17. Obama has never said or done anything that would make anyone think he is changing gun laws at all. In fact, he said he agreed with the Supreme Court that the 2nd amendment is an individual right. Nothing has changed since he was elected. Looks like another trick to get people to vote Republican again, because nothing with our gun laws has changed.

  15. @3:02PM - One move that the Obama administration made was to prevent the reloading of ammunition casing. Instead of being resold domestically to remanufacture ammo, it is crushed and sold for scrap at a much lower value.

Obama was also trying to serialize every piece of ammo sold.

It's too difficult to directly outlaw guns (because that would violate the Constitution), so the administration is seeking to control ammunition. What good is a gun without ammo? Any judge worth their salary would see through this as a violation of the states' rights to a well regulated militia, but unfortunately it seems that all Federal judges owe more to a given political ideology than the Constitution they have sworn to uphold.

  18. Some quotes to think about!

“The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.”
    -Thomas Jefferson

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms"
    -Thomas Jefferson.

"The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose."
    -James Earl Jones

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
    - Ayn Rand (1905-1982)
