Tonight, the Hebron Commissioners Voted in favor of rezoning Waller Landing as a Planned Neighborhood District to be effective January 15, 2010.
After the rezoning vote, the Hebron Town Commissioners voted to approve the Waller Landing Master Plan with 1,571 housing units plus 200 Assisted Living minus the houses along Porter Mill Road to allow for a buffer. Included in the Master Plan is 450,000 square foot of commercial space (restoring 50,000 sq feet of commercial removed by the Planning Commission).
This vote was taken although the Hebron Commissioners have NO idea where EDUs will be found for water and with NO idea how the wastewater will be handled.
After two plus years of attendance at meetings and numerous speakers in opposition to Waller Landing at EVERY public hearing, there were NO concessions made to the public
After the developers forfeited LLC matter being brought up at the last meeting, the public brought up that the Resident Agent they listed on their new documents was a bogus address and so tonight the developers knew they had to fix that and submitted new documents tonight. Dumb and Dumber.

These Are Trying Times For Joe Albero & Salisbury News
While many bask in the bright sunshine over Jim Ireton's massive victory yesterday over Gary Comegys, things are about to become really tough on both Jim Ireton and Joe Albero.
Allow me to explain. It's actually pretty simple. Take for example Chief Webster and other Department Heads throughout the City. With one foot inside their Departments, the other is outside and NONE of them truly knowing what the future holds, one could expect that the most dangerous critics who have a serious opportunity to make serious change in Salisbury must be taken down.
While Chief Webster and Barrie Tilghman were the two key people involved in perjury charges against me, yes, you heard me right, there's no question they'll go to ANY level possible to eliminate that risk. Quite a few careers are on the line Ladies & Gentlemen and the ONLY way they're going to feel some of that sunshine is by eliminating us all together.
Death threats continue to come in and even when I Post 1 out of 20 of them every so often, do you hear the Chief of Police coming to my rescue? Nah, but he's the first to get in line in front of a Grand Jury and get charges against me for perjury! He and Barrie have been spending years at trying to bring down Hunter Nelms referencing the Drill Academy and its not even in their jurisdiction.
The next thing we know they'll be out there telling everyone that Jim Ireton is gay and leads the life of an Anti Christ. Hey, you never know what they're going to pull but let me assure you of one thing, these people are capable of pulling off some of the most unbelievable stunts you have ever heard of.
All I can tell you is, desperate people do desperate things. After seeing what Barrie Tilghman did to Tim Spies 2 years ago, expect the worst. That being said, look, Salisbury News reaches far more people than any other local source. The fact that we'll be delivering damaging information over the next few weeks, they know this is coming, they know we haven't even started to expose the serious stuff yet so they're going to do whatever it takes to discredit Jim Ireton and Joe Albero.
Remember when the Daily Times printed Chief Webster saying he didn't see anything when KC Tilghman was yanked off Rachel Polk. The guy pulling KC Tilghman off of Rachel Polk was Chief Webster, but he didn't see anything. We put up the audios of that trial, if you remember? Nevertheless, the Judge even said it himself to Rachel Polk, Of course you're going to get your Peace Order. If you can't trust your own Chief of Police, who can you trust?
They'll say and do just about anything to denounce and discredit us in any way, shape or form. The Daily Times WILL spew their stories and never once give me a call nor Jim Ireton. They too are extremely desperate, (Daily Times) so be prepared to hear the worst. Be prepared to watch Chief Webster, Chief see, Barrie Tilghman, Gary Comegys, Mike Dunn, Lynn Cathcart and many others to feed the Anti Albero Blogs about Jim & Joe. Look, I don't go there any more and while we do have people monitoring their Sites, I can't be bothered with their lies. They chose a fat man who doesn't have two nickles to rub together to go after us because he has NOTHING! He lives in section 8 housing and will say ANYTHING they want him to. He's getting some attention he can't get elsewhere and he's changed parties like he changes his Depends, often.
This is why I asked Gary7 Comegys and Louise Smith if they still denounced the Blogs. Louise yelled out, DON'T ANSWER THAT GARY! Why, because she knows I know they're connected with the Anti Albero Blogs. Of course they'll probably wait till the election is over, (well after the 30 days) before they answer that question, which will tell everyone what the answer is anyway.
Nevertheless, the ice is VERY thin for both Jim Ireton and Joe Albero right now. Hey Chiefy, with all these death threats, can you come save my life, or would you rather watch another Salisbury Taxpayer Die without any protection, like that Prostitute and the Intel Information you had on her and her alleged killer? That's OK Chiefy, I'll take care of myself if you're not willing to look into who continues to threaten my life. In the mean time, this isn't a plane going down in the middle of nowhere with the wrong mixture of fuel in it. This time we have a voice, (Salisbury News) and if anything happens to us in the mean time, you'll know just where to look. Just remember, who's got the most to lose.
As for Mr. Comegys, here's my suggestion to you Sir. Run a fair and honest Campaign. No mud slinging and that goes for the people on your Campaign. WIN because you'll have earned the win. However, the first time you allow rumors and sling mud, I'm personally going to come back and slam you on this Blog like you've never experienced before.
I'll close with this. Ladies & Gentlemen, I have truly lived an unbelievable life. For a guy who had absolutely nothing and was told I'd never succeed, I sure have proven those nay sayers wrong. I have wonderful children, the most beautiful Wife God could have ever blessed any man with and I have secured their future. Sure, I'd love to live to 90 years old and watch the world go by. However, if I don't, I have absolutely NO REGRETS! I'm not going to get into a long speech about my life. I'm simply going to say that God Forbid something were to happen to me, I'm in a MUCH better place than Salisbury Maryland.
Jim Ireton needs your help! You need to send him some money and throw your support towards the best Candidate Salisbury has had in many decades. Clearly he is doing this for all of YOU. You need to reinvest back into him in order to allow the future of Salisbury to be fiscally secure. You need to get out and VOTE! I think TWO things happened during this Primary. First of all you had new Candidates and the incumbent wasn't running. That brought out more voters than the Daily Times or Paul Wilber expected. The second reason you had more people voting is because of Jim Ireton. Everyone knows he's a good man and will do good for this City.
Take Back Your City. Oh, Chiefy, you can reach me at 410-430-5349 and I'll give you whatever you need on ALL of the Death Threats I have been forwarding to Sheriff Lewis and States Attorney Davis Ruark. Let's take a bite out of crime, eh Chiefy? OR will I have to take a bullet so you can keep your job?

Salisbury - It Ain't Over Yet
Jim Ireton pulled off an impressive victory on Tuesday. He (and his many supporters) should be heartily congratulated. Congrats to Bob Caldwell too. He may pull ahead of Gary Comegys yet. We'll know tomorrow. Congrats to the other candidates as well, especially Cynthia Polk who now moves to the general to face Barrie Comegys candidate Shanie Shields.
While I hate to rain on anyone's parade, we all need to remember - Salisbury, It Ain't Over Yet!. Neither Gary Comegys nor his SAPOA pals are going to go quietly. There's going to be lot's of money spent - legally and illegally for the Barrie Comegys ticket of Gary Comegys, Muir Boda, and Shanie Shields.
The next five weeks are going to be a nasty slugfest. Those candidates representing needed change in Salisbury are going to be the targets of mailings, ads, and vicious whispers. In fact, it has already begun.
Yesterday was an impressive show. Unfortunately, it wasn't even half the battle.

Questions Concerning Campaign Contributions
We've had a lot of questions come in today concerning who can contribute to a candidate. The following information comes directly from the City of Salisbury Charter Section 1.12.030. We hope this answers your questions.
1.12.030 Campaign contributions.
A. No candidate for mayor or for member of the city council shall receive campaign contributions in excess of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per individual or entity per campaign in cash and/or in-kind services of a commercial nature. The two hundred fifty dollar ($250.00) amount is a total for both the primary and general election.
Anyone living anywhere can contribute to the candidate of their choice.
B. The contributions or loans of a candidate or the candidate’s spouse to the candidate’s own campaign are not subject to the limitations of Subsections A and C of this section, but must pass through the hands of the candidate’s treasurer and be reported as required in other provisions of this chapter. Personal expenses of the candidate for filing fees, telegrams, telephoning, travel and board, shall not be considered contributions if paid for by the candidate or the candidate’s spouse.
C. No loan may be made to the campaign of a candidate or accepted on behalf of the campaign, without express written consent of the candidate. Written consent constitutes the personal guaranty of the candidate for repayment of the loan, only if it expressly so provides. The aggregate amount of all outstanding loans to the campaign of a candidate shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for both the primary and general election. A loan shall not be forgiven in an amount in excess of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). Subsection B of this section is an exclusion to the requirements of this subsection.
D. Contributions of such in-kind services of a commercial nature shall be valued at a rate commensurate with the cost of purchasing similar materials or services.
E. All campaign contributions shall be received by the date of the general election. Any campaign contributions received after the date of the general election shall be returned to the contributor. (Ord. 1749 (part), 2000)

REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AGENCY LAUNCHES WEB SITE
A local regional transportation planning agency’s new Website is up and running at www.swmpo.org, according to Wicomico County planning official Gary R. Pusey. Mr. Pusey said that, “the Salisbury/Wicomico Metropolitan Planning Organization (S/W MPO) was founded in 2004 and it conducts transportation planning activities within an area that includes Salisbury, Fruitland, Delmar and portions of Wicomico and Sussex Counties.”
According to Pusey, the organization focuses its efforts on performing “corridor studies” that identify heavily-traveled roadways and developing improvement plans to handle anticipated growth through 2030. A complete study on Pemberton Drive can be viewed at the new Website. Currently, the “East Side Corridor Study (including South Division Street, College Avenue and Beaglin Park Drive)” is complete and will be available soon on the Website. Future studies include one on U.S. Route 13 North from the Salisbury Bypass to Delmar and another on Riverside Drive.
Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., a former Vice Chairman of the MPO Council said, “I hope our citizens take the opportunity to visit this new Website. Increased traffic on our roads is one of the more obvious signs of the regional growth we’ve been experiencing in the last ten years.”
Mr. Pusey said that the S/W MPO is one of almost 400 MPOs nationwide. Authorized by federal legislation in 1962, an MPO is created when a region reaches a population of at least 50,000 persons with a density of at least 1,000 persons per square mile. The 2000 Census qualified the Greater Salisbury area for this designation. Funding is provided from the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Transit Agency and the Maryland Department of Transportation.

Six Wicomico Schools Honored
Six Wicomico Schools Honored with 2008 Maryland School Performance Recognition Awards
The Maryland State Department of Education has recognized four Wicomico County elementary schools and two high schools that have earned 2008 Maryland School Performance Recognition Awards based on improvement from 2007 to 2008 on Maryland’s assessments. Westside Primary School in Quantico was recognized for overall improvement in Maryland School Assessment scores by its former students from 2007 to 2008.
Three Title I schools were recognized for subgroup improvement. These schools were Charles H. Chipman Elementary and Pinehurst Elementary in Salisbury, and Northwestern Elementary in Mardela Springs. Each Title I school will receive a $5,533.93 award for the school to use to continue improving. At the high school level, schools are recognized when their students have made improvements among subgroups on the High School Assessments (HSAs) from 2007 to 2008. Parkside High School and James M. Bennett High School have received state recognition for subgroup improvements. MSDE is recognizing 463 elementary and middle schools and 73 high schools across the State for the academic performance of their students. The recognition program honors schools for their performance on the 2008 Maryland School Assessment (MSA) or the High School Assessment (HSA), and for improving the performance of special populations of students for two years. Only schools that made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for 2007-2008 were eligible for the awards. Special populations include race/ethnicity, special education, limited English proficiency, and students who are receiving free or reduced price meals.
The program, established by the Maryland General Assembly in 1996, is now required by the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). “Each year the School Recognition Program allows us to acknowledge the success of staff and students in raising the performance levels of all public school students,” said State Superintendent of Schools Nancy S. Grasmick. “This year, we share our pride in 536 elementary, middle, and high schools for their overall achievement or for improving the performance of their special populations or both.”

Delaware State Police Address Texting And Harassment
An article by Carolyn Thompson from the Associated Press ran nationally today in regards to texting and harassment. Although Delaware was not specifically mentioned, this report proved to be an appropriate segway to discuss the issue locally.
Here in the ‘First State,’ many of incidents of harassment occur every year and many of which go unreported. For those which are investigated by law enforcement, harassment comes in many forms. The Delaware State Police has the methonds and means to investigate this type of crime with the help of the High Technology Crime Unit.
Prior to the advent of the texting, it was common for one person to bother another person by calling them repeatedly, persistently sending one letters or pestering another directly in person. As the article by Ms. Thompson addresses, harassment by texting is now on the rise- and is ever so prevalent in Delaware.
Why texting? Texting itself has become an accepted means of communication for all generations using cell phones. It’s quick, to the point and depending on the wireless plan one may have, it’s cheap.
Harassment is harassment is harassment. The fact of the matter is that harassment in any form is unacceptable. It does not matter if it is via a phone call or a text message. If someone is being repeatedly bothered by another person, law enforcement can get involved.
There are steps one can take in regards to this issue.
Tell the person who is bothering ‘you’ to leave ‘you’ alone. The earlier the perpetrator knows his or her behavior is unacceptable, the sooner it may stop.
Save the text messages to show an investigator the frequency and content of the text messages.
Call sooner than later. Do not let the situation escalate by putting up with this kind of communication.
Don’t take threatening messages for granted. A threat is the same weather one says it or texts it.
Consider changing one’s cell phone number. Although this step is drastic, it may alleviate the issue.
Parents should speak to their kids about this issue too. If one should think that texting among adults is prevalent, try the ‘Z’ generation. Children and teens of all ages commonly have cell phones now, and with cell phones also comes a potential medium for harassment.
In the not too distant past, teens might harass their peers by passing the note in the classroom or whispering a damaging rumor in the hallway. Texting has proven to be an effective method to pass along this kind of information at a lighting pace.
When addressing this issue with children and teens, it is important to underscore the idea that harassment via text message is just as hurtful as saying it directly to someone. If certain factors are present, it may also be criminal.
The point of this release is to shed some light on the issue of harassment as it pertains to texting here in Delaware. There are steps one can take in addressing the issue and no one should have to stand for being victimized.

Do You Think The Daily Times Can Figure This Out?
Looks like they're already trying to learn Bubba Math!
There were 2053 votes cast. But only 1394 cards cast. If everyone had voted for 2, there would have been a total of 2788 votes cast.
That means 659 people voted for two and 735 voted for just one.
My bet is most of the Comegys people voted only for him, that they made up the biggest group in that voted-only-for-one number. A small percentage may have voted for Caldwell as a #2 figuring he'd be easier to beat than Ireton. Or maybe even a few thinking they had to vote for 2 gave #2 to Della Penna so Ireton and Caldwell wouldn't have bigger votes.
Caldwell likely did get a healthy number of second choice votes from Ireton supporters. (He just wasn't "out there" until the end.) And some of Caldwell's harder core Republican supporters likely voted Caldwell only since both Ireton and Comegys are Democrats. The precinct numbers will give a better picture.
One thing missing from the picture is how many cards were cast in District 1. But since someone reported there were about 100 votes around 4:00 or 5:00, with 205 votes cast, it looks like a larger percentage voted for 2 in their district race. Again, the precinct numbers will give a better picture...
The absentees could make a difference on the mayor's race. Usually absentees follow the same proportions as the polls. But that wasn't the case in 2007 when Spies and Cohen tied in absentees with both beating Comegys in that count. Depending on what area the absentees came from, this could turn out to be an Ireton-Caldwell face-off with Comegys looking all hounddoggy on the council for the next two years.
Either way, the spread Ireton got over Comegys ought to make Comegys pretty hounddoggy today anyway.
BARRIE & BLOGGERS BUSTED BUBBA’S BALLOON!
Jim Ireton’s large margin of victory in Salisbury’s mayoral primary and the very small lead Comegys has on Bob Caldwell at the moment is proof that the last minute shenanigans and scams perpetrated by Barrie & Bubba have backfired on them, big time. Let’s briefly review some of their schemes, and we probably don’t yet know about even half of them.
The dumbest was for both Barrie and her spouse to contribute to Comegys’ campaign the maximum amount allowed. Besides providing further evidence of Bubba’s allegiance to landlords, SAPOA and developers, this money made possible some of those red and white signs that we see at rental homes and various developments and business locations.
Then there’s the attempt to manipulate residents at The Cottages at River House into voting for Comegys, while also denying the other candidates any visitation right at the facility – apparently after their request to speak with the residents was referred to Barrie for guidance. That’s outrageous.
But much more outrageous is that weekly “public affairs” program (Monday Morning with the Mayor) that BPT does on WICO–1320AM. The current version is a campaign ad for Comegys, starring him, with Barrie as the moderator. It may and, if not, should be a violation of federal broadcasting rules by those involved -- look for more about that on this blog in the future.
The good news is that each of these things clearly cost Comegys votes yesterday and surely will hurt him again in the general election on April 7. But that would not be the case without the ability to put the facts before the public on this Blog. Salisbury’s mainstream media has not mentioned these matters, except in the routine article about campaign contributions, which listed the donations to Comegys. The difference is striking between the tenor and outcome of the mayoral elections as recently as 2002, when Barrie defeated Duke Shanahan by a thin margin by means of last minute character assassination.
There’s no need for Barrie to present this Blogger with a certificate of appreciation for serving the public interest at one of the few City Council meetings to be held before she becomes history. Salisbury residents already know that she and her comrades – Comegys, Dunn, Cathcart, Insley, Schuster, T. J. Baloney, etc. – HAVE BEEN BLOGGED!

OMG, The Memories!
One loyal reader came through with some fantastic photos showing there are good times to be had for FREE right here in Salisbury. Fortunately for many of us older folks, we had more of these days than our kids will probably ever experience but isn't this just too cool!
When I was a kid we moved to Huntington Beach California for a few years. We had a swimming pool in the back yard and we'd get in the car and drive an hour or so away to Mt. Baldy. We'd go swimming in the morning and an hour later we were playing in the deep snow.
Where did you grow up? Do you have a special hill you went down when you were a kid? We had "Dead Man's Hill" in Emerson, New Jersey on a Golf Course.
Ewings First Day As A Walmart Greeter
As many of you know, I had ambitions of finding a simple, uncomplicated part time job after retiring from my "day job".
Unfortunately, as I have gotten a littler older, I have become a little less sensitive.
So after landing my new job as a Walmart greeter, a good find for many retirees, I lasted less then a day.....
About two hours into my first day on the job a very loud, unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into the store with her two kids, yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance.
As I had been instructed, I said, pleasantly, "Good morning and welcome to Walmart. Nice children you have there, are they twins?"
The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, "hell no, they ain't twins. The oldest one's 9 and the other one's 7. Why the hell would you think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?"
So I replied, "I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am, I just couldn't believe you got laid twice. Have a good day and thank you for shopping at Walmart".
My supervisor said, I probably wasn't cut out for this line of work...

Quick Thinking
A man boarded a plane with 6 kids. After they got settled in their seats a woman sitting across the aisle from him leaned over to him and asked, "Are all of those kids yours?"
He replied, "No. I work for a condom company. These are customer complaints.

A Call To Revolution By Constitution
“The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself, or be ruled by a small elite.” - Thomas Jefferson
Our founding fathers gave us the Constitution of the United States of America. A great document chocked full of protection of the peoples’ rights under a government meant to serve the people. Yet everyday we watch politicians in Washington ignore, usurp, circumvent by legislation, disregard and shred our Constitution for their own power, profit and benefit. All the while we the people sit back and watch, with a helpless feeling. WE ARE NOT HELPLESS!!!
Under the 1st Amendment ‘we the people’ can petition the government fro a redress of grievances. Many people will tell you it doesn’t work, they won’t listen, etc. Yes they will! It amazes me that a million people will scream loud when “Facebook” takes away their right to content and privacy. But will sit by idol and do nothing when the government takes more and more of your rights everyday.
Why is that? Are they scared? They should be, of what the tyrannical government is doing and not what will happen if ‘we the people’ act as ‘we the people’. Stand up and shout loud, let them know how you feel. Meet together, stand together, protest together. Call the politicians out for what they are doing to ‘we the people’. We all may not agree about everything, but we all agree that they are out of control, and no longer represent ‘we the people’.
How much longer will we put off overthrowing this screwed up system just to work towards temporary solutions to the problems it causes? Let’s cut to the root of the matter right now!!
Wanted, full time constitutional revolutionaries! Not armchair revolutionaries, not ivory tower revolutionaries. Not “professional” revolutionaries, either, rather then making a business out of constitutional revolution, make constitution revolution your business. Men and women who will not allow their efforts to win back their freedom to become just another job or fad. Men and women who are ready to live according to their desires around the clock.
“Government is instituted fro the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it.” - John Adams
Let’s take back our country!! Let’s take back our constitution!! Let’s make this nation great again. Make them listen and effect real change for the people they were elected to serve.
We all know what the politicians are doing to the constitution is wrong but we don’t speak up. Many say, “I’m unsure, I’m afraid and I don’t really know if this is the right thing to do….”
But I tell you this: THE SILENCE ENDS HERE AND NOW!!!

Colonel’s Camp Barnes Chili Bike Run
March 29, 2009 – please see attached flyer for registration and start times
Where: Kent/Sussex Counties
Why: A fundraiser to benefit Camp Barnes.
Contact: Ms. Brenda Lee Unruh / 302.739.3711
History of Camp Barnes
In 1947, the Delaware Association of Chiefs’ of Police, an organization which was composed of active law enforcement and correctional officers, accepted the challenge to undertake a project to combat juvenile delinquency in the First State. A committee was appointed to investigate the problems confronting youth. The committee’s resulting recommendations led to the establishment of Camp Barnes for the recreation of deserving youth from throughout the state.
Camp Barnes, located on Miller’s Creek, a tributary of Little Assawoman Bay, has since served the needs of thousands of children from throughout Delaware. Camp Barnes was originally designed to provide the children who were unable to attend summer camp an opportunity to experience life at a summer youth camp. Camp Barnes has remained basically unchanged, providing Delaware children with these outdoor experiences for over 50 years.
The summer camp is an overnight residential camp run by the Delaware State Police and is open to children between the ages of 10 and 13 at no cost to the camper or family. Camp Barnes accommodates 60 campers per week for six weeks. The camp is in session from early July through August. All children are eligible to attend regardless of family income.
One of the many positive aspects of Camp Barnes summer camp is the innovative use of adventure based outdoor learning experiences. Camp Barnes has on its grounds an extensive outdoor initiative course with 17 different initiative and team building elements. Some of the many activities campers participate in throughout the week include swimming in an Olympic size pool, kayaking in Miller’s Creek, arts and crafts, nature walks, and talent shows. Campers also enjoy a scaled down version of the Olympics, State Police demonstrations by the K-9, SCUBA and Aviation units.
Camp Barnes has a staff of 12 counselors, two cooks, and one kitchen assistant. Counselors are required to submit to a criminal background check as well as an interview. There is also a State Trooper on grounds at all times when the camp is in session.

HOLY COW!!!!!!
IT'S YET ANOTHER RECORD DAY FOR SALISBURY NEWS!
I had been telling everyone today how strange things had been all day. The hits were absolutely fantastic but the comments just weren't there. In fact, I felt for most of the day comments had been the slowest I had ever seen, until the election results! Man, look what happened to that Post!
Anyhow, Tuesday's numbers blew away Monday's record day and things just keep climbing. I know we were the first to get the numbers out there to everyone, as always. Thanks to Earl's Sister, it allowed me to finally get out of the house this evening and go out and shoot pictures. There was only ONE camp I was heading to and that was Jim Ireton's.
Talk about an unbelievable group of people. You people should really get to know Jim Ireton better because his friends are just the greatest group of people anyone could ever be blessed to be surrounded by. I am truly looking forward to his LEADERSHIP in Salisbury and let me assure you of one thing Ladies & Gentlemen, this man is the real deal.
I can't wait to watch the Comegys/Tilghman smear machine come out. They'll be kicking, scratching and fighting desperately to make sure they beat Jim Ireton but the people have spoken. They want honesty. They want real leadership they can depend on. They're tired of the unbelievable spending and Ireton will make it stop and he'll make it stop immediately.
I could go on and on with excitement about this evening but I'm tired and it's been a LONG day. I will have somewhat of a late start with Posts tomorrow. However,l you may not notice it, depending when I finally get up. I feel like I have only had 3 or 4 hours sleep each night for the past 8 days. Sooner or later I'm going to crash and burn and get a real night's sleep and everyone is going to say, what happened to Joe? If it happens, DON'T CALL ME, LEAVE ME ALONE! I need the sleep! Just kidding.
Congratulations Jim Ireton but most of all, THANK YOU JIM IRETON! Salisbury needed a change and Salisbury is Blessed to have you Jim. Who knows Folks, Jim Ireton could just be the next Mike Lewis of Mayors in the very near future. You certainly can't say that about Gary Comegys.
To Mr. Caldwell, Thank You Bob. We all know it's not over yet but my God, I am so proud of you Sir. To think of all the unfortunate things that has happened to you lately. A broken foot, an accident on your way to the NAACP Forum and Folks, this guy stood out in the freezing cold from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM waving a sign, standing there in a cast on his foot. You are a Superman Bob. Just an unbelievable guy! Keep that chin up and let's see what the absentee ballots bring us in the end.
