Missing Dog In Parsonsburg
Joe,
My friend's dog disappeared yesterday afternoon after being let outside to relieve herself. He lives about 1/4 mile off the road and usually she just goes out and comes right back in. We have looked everywhere and are worried sick about her. She is a small Pit Bull with very short hair and she is very friendly. There is no way she could survive this cold weather and we just know she would come home if she could. I think someone must have picked her up. I contacted the Wicomico County Animal Shelter and they haven't seen any dog fitting her description. I am sending you the best shot I have of her but there is another dog in the picture. It is my Choc Lab and she is not missing.
The missing dog's name is Princess. She is a solid tan color with a little bit of white speckled on her chest and she is wearing a purple collar but there is no tag on it. If you can, please ask your readers if they have seen her. Contact David at 410-603-6597 or Susan 443-880-6349. I am so worried for this little dog.
She went missing from the 9300 block of Guy Ward Rd in Parsonsburg.

URGENT “BEAT THE PEAK”
6 A.M. to 9 A.M., Tomorrow Morning, March 4
Because of the slow track of extremely cold weather out of our region, between the hours of 6 A.M. and 9 A.M. tomorrow morning, March 4 we are asking you to delay the usage of all unnecessary lights or appliances during these hours as well as turning your thermostat down 3 degrees.
While the largest consumers of electricity in the home during these hours and during this time of year are heating costs and lighting, other large consumers of electricity include major appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, clothes dryers, hot water heaters and stoves.
By delaying the use of unnecessary lighting and appliances as well as reducing your thermostat 3 degrees between 6 A.M. and 9 A.M. tomorrow morning, March 4, we can save energy resources, avoid high cost energy and help the environment.
We thank you for your help. Together we can “Beat The Peak”
Support E-Verify..Call Kratovil
Rep. Bilbray and Schuler have co-authored a letter to Pelosi and Reid urging them to attach a long term reauthorization of E-Verify, the successful employment verification system, to the Omnibus Act 2009.(Kratovil opposed, but it passed)
Please call Rep Frank Kratovil and urge him to call Rep Bilbray at (202)225-0508, by close of business Wednesday, that he will support and SIGN this letter to Pelosi and Reid.
Although a reauthorization was in the House bill, the Senate, urged by open border supporters, removed the E-Verify reauthorization.
We now have an opportunity to extend E-Verify. Call Kratovil at (202) 225-5311 and urge him to call Rep. Bilbray (202) 225-0508 that he will support and sign this letter to Pelosi and Reid.

Election Update
We should probably have solid results at 7:00 PM tonight. I'll keep everyone posted as the information comes in.
BY THE WAY, I want to thank all of those people that called in about the Lost Dog. Because of YOUR tips they were able to locate the dog and he is home thawing out.
One final note. To my friend Gail Riley Cross, (one of the sweetest women on God's Green Earth) who knows I'm kind of stuck here at home today with a very sick Grandson, came by my home moments ago to deliver me some of her world famous chicken salad samiches. These smaiches only come out at election time and are something I truly look forward to every couple of years. Because I couldn't get out there to participate, she brought them here to Delmar. Thank God, some things never change because those samiches are to die for. So thank you Gail, you're a true sweetheart.

Who's Yo' Daddy?
The following are all replies that Detroit women have written on Child Support Agency Forms in the section for listing 'father's details;' or putting it another way..... Who's yo' Daddy? These are genuine excerpts from the forms.
1. Regarding the identity of the father of my twins, Makeeshia was fathered by Maclearndon McKinley. I am unsure as to the identity of the father of Marlinda, but I believe that she was conceived on the same night.
2. I am unsure, as to the identity of the father of my child as I was being sick out of a window when taken unexpectedly from behind. I can provide you with a list of names of men that I think were at the party if this helps.
3. I do not know the name of the father of my little girl. She was conceived at a party at 3600 East Grand Boulevard where I had sex with a man I met that night. I do remember that the sex was so good that I fainted. If you do manage to track down the father, can you please send me his phone number? Thanks
4. I don't know the identity of the father of my daughter. He drives a BMW that now has a hole made by my stiletto in one of the door panels. Perhaps you can contact BMW service stations in this area and see if he's had it replaced.
5. I have never had sex with a man. I am still a Virginian. I am awaiting a letter from the Pope confirming that my son's conception was ejaculate and that he is the Saver risen again.
6. I cannot tell you the name of Alleshia's dad as he informs me that to do so would blow his cover and that would have cataclysmic implications for the economy. I am torn between doing right by you and right by the country. Please advise.
7. I do not know who the father of my child was as they all look the same to me.
8. Tyrone Hairston is the father of child A. If you do catch up with him, can you ask him what he did with my AC/DC CDs? Child B who was also born at the same time.... well, I don't have clue.
9. From the dates it seems that my daughter was conceived at Disney World; maybe it really is the Magic Kingdom.
10. So much about that night is a blur. The only thing that I remember for sure is Delia Smith did a program about eggs earlier in the evening. If I had stayed in and watched more TV rather than going to the party at 8956 Miller Ave , mine might have remained unfertilized.
11. I am unsure as to the identity of the father of my baby, after all, like when you eat a can of beans you can't be sure which one made you fart.

He is usually walked in the park everyday, and may have taken off in that direction.

Important 2nd Amendment Legislation
In MD:
Two important pieces of pro-gun legislation were heard on Tuesday, February 24 in the House Judiciary Committee.
House Bill 470 would repeal the requirement that the Secretary of State Police find that a person has a good and substantial reason to wear, carry, or transport a handgun before issuing a handgun permit. HB 470 is a bi-partisan bill that will ensure Maryland citizens are afforded the right to self-defense enjoyed by citizens in 40 other states.
House Bill 682 would require that the Secretary of State Police issue a permit to carry, wear, or transport a handgun within a reasonable time to a person who has successfully completed the Federal Flight Deck Officer Program of the Transportation Security Administration.
In D.C.
Fairfax, Va. - The United States Senate has voted, with overwhelming bipartisan support, to adopt an amendment offered by Senator John Ensign (R-NV) that seeks to protect the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens in the District of Columbia. The amendment, attached to S.160, the D.C. Voting Rights Act, will repeal restrictive gun control laws passed by the District of Columbia's (D.C.) city council after the landmark D.C. v. Heller Supreme Court decision. The vote margin was 62-36.
"Today's vote [Friday, Feb 27th] brings us one step closer to restoring the Second Amendment freedom of law-abiding D.C. residents," said NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox. "It's ludicrous that good people in our nation's capital continue to be harassed as they try to defend themselves and their loved ones in their own homes. This vote reinforces the historic Heller ruling."
After the Heller ruling, the D.C. city council passed a law requiring would-be gun owners to pay a registration fee, pass a 20-question multiple choice test, take a five-hour training course, undergo an invasive background check every six years, re-register any firearm every three years, and finally, submit all handguns for ballistics testing. Current D.C. law also bans an overwhelming majority of firearms commonly used for self-defense. This Ensign Amendment would also remedy that unjust practice.
"NRA would like to thank the lead sponsor, Sen. John Ensign for his efforts to reform D.C.'s gun laws and enable folks to protect their property and their loved ones," concluded Cox. "It's time for leaders in Washington to wake up to the fact that the Supreme Court decision is now the law of the land."

District 1 Voter Asks A Good Question
This is a good question that needs to be answered by the City Council.
Gannett Publications/Daily Times Takes A Dive On The Stock Market
Gannett Publications opened the day BELOW $3.00 a share and has taken a dive for the worse down to $2.54 a share so far today! http://www.google.com/finance?q=NYSE:GCI
Could this be the end of the Daily Times? Should they have interviewed people like Election Board Members instead of the City Attorney instead?
If Joe Carmean, Greg Bassett and the entire Staff haven't been sending out their resume to Salisbury News, shame on them! It looks like the end is very near and the Daily Times/Gannett will finally close their doors in the very near future. Oh well, what a shame, NOT!
BREAKING NEWS! They just dropped to $2.30 a share!
DID YOU VOTE?
The Daily Times is trying to imply that they expect far less a turn out today at the Polls than any other time in Salisbury's history. OK, so its cold out. The roads are clear and IF you follow their lead you'll simply show that they can control your mind and an election.
I don't care who you vote for, get off your lazy rear ends, stop making excuses and ACT like an American. These Candidates are even offering you a ride to the Polls, no questions asked!
Let me also say this. Why in the heck is the Daily Times asking City Attorney Paul Wilber his take on his expectations for the turn out? Wouldn't you be better off speaking to someone at the Election Board instead? He's an attorney, for crying out loud! OH, that's right, the Daily Times WANTS a minimum turn out!
First of all, it makes YOU look like complete FOOLS when your own City has been turned upside down. Criminals are taking more money at gun point from your ATM machines than you are. Prostitutes are making more money at $20.00 a pop than you do working all day at an honest job. Gangs are police the streets in far more control than the SPD and rather than encourage YOU to get out there and vote, they'd rather try to convince you that no one else is going to show up, so why should YOU.
Quit being so stupid Folks. Paul Wilber NEEDS Gary Comegys to win. The Daily Times needs Gary Comegys to win. I have 5 Family Members serving our Country right now to give you that FREEDOM to VOTE. Get off your lazy arsnicks and VOTE!
If YOU live in the City of Salisbury and you have not Voted, ask for a slightly extended lunch break and get to the Polls. IF your Boss won't let you, you just let us know what business they have and I'll be happy to express who they are and the fact that they will do NOTHING to encourage you to get out there and Vote.
That being said, we'd like to also know what businesses ENCOURAGE their Employees to get out there and Vote. If you know your Co-Worker lives in the City and they're not wearing one of the "I Voted" stickers, get on them NOW and get them out there to Vote. People are giving up their lives to allow you this FREEDOM! Show some respect and make a difference here in Salisbury.
There are NO EXCUSES. If you're capable of getting out there to buy a pack of cigarettes, a gallon of milk or whatever, you have a few minutes to spare to prove the Daily Times and that fool attorney Paul Wilber wrong.
Don't Mess With Old Ladies
Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?
Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding.
Older Woman: Oh, I see.
Officer: Can I see your license please?
Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don' t have one.
Officer: Don't have one?
Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.
Officer: I see..Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.
Older Woman: I can't do that.
Offic er: Why not?
Older Woman: I stole this car
Officer: Stole it?
Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.
Officer: You what?
Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see
The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.
Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please! The woman steps out of her vehicle.
Older woman: Is there a problem sir?
Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.
Older Woman: Murdered the owner?
Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.
The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.
Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?
Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers.
The officer is quite stunned.
Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.
The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.
The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.
Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.
Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too!!!!

New Orleans Crabs...
Needless to say, she was annoyed by his behavior. Shortly before landing in New York, she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin, "Would the gentleman who gave me the crabs in New Orleans , please raise your hand?"
Not one hand went up ... so she took them home and ate them.

Traffic & Road Conditions
Came from Salisbury to Easton this morning. Route 50 is not good at all between Salisbury and Cambridge. The open fields have definitely caused some major problems. Once you get over the bridge in Cambridge the roads are much better. When I got into Easton there was a tractor trailer that had jack knifed on Route 50. So there's a detour there. Please remind everyone to slow down. It comes up on you quickly. These people with 4-wheel drives were landing in the median. There are places where it is nothing but a sheet of ice.

This was advertised in today's Daily Slime. Perhaps this piece of crap Mayor currently in Office can explain what her problem is with Bob Harris? You know something Mayor, you were lucky to have such a qualified man offer to give of his time to join such a group. Oh, that's right, you and Gary want all yes men that are clueless so they'll do whatever you like, I forgot.
