That is some serious milk money
ReplyDeleteOh crap Rick Pollitt will now install cameras on every lunch line. All B.O.E. employees are guilty of something. Just look at County Roads. They still gas from the dump. County Roads looks like it holds Gold Bullion. All the cameras did was stop the deputies from taking a leak out there at night. Well most of them anyway. Some are proud of their junk.
ReplyDeleteAre people this desperate or is it merely lack of intelligence. I can't believe she thought she would never be caught.
ReplyDeleteJust the tip of the iceberg with government.
ReplyDeleteEver wonder where all the tax money goes?
Just the tip of the iceberg!
Didn't somebody get suspicious when the bookkeeper was wearing a black hoodie every Friday?
ReplyDelete12:47 exactly was is "still gas"? I don't believe you are a product of our local school system as your message sounded and looked like it was composed of a Nintendo-addicted child of 11 years old.
ReplyDeleteThe BOE and the County government are twp different entities.
ReplyDelete1:53 - "still gas" means steal gas just like Deer Head Hospital means Deers Head Hospital and poncil means pencil and I didn't axe you means I didn't ask you.
ReplyDeleteYou give them a cushy job with all the perks & great benefits & then their still not happy & just want more. Need to start thinning out all these crooks starting with all the politicians.
ReplyDeleteTax money? The book keeper never deposits tax money. The book keeper deposits moneys from clubs, fundraisers, athletic events, etc. She must've been stealing dollars from the students--not the government! That's even worse when these kids do their best to raise money for something and then the book keeper takes her fee off the top!
ReplyDelete3:03pm - "cushy job with all the perks & great benefits", are you talking about some other Salisbury Wicomico, we dont have that here. The benefits are below fair, take a look, why do you think that there is a law suit agianst the county for better benefits.
ReplyDelete4:45 If you don't like the benefits, go elswhere. There are plenty of people out of work.
ReplyDelete12:43pm That is some serious milk money-maybe there was some ice cream thrown in on top :-)
ReplyDeleteI applaud all involved with this investigation and ultimate arrest. The BOE quickly acted upon the allegations following the report from the auditors. From what I hear, much of this could not be detected because this person wrote out different deposit receipts. She gave the teachers/sponsors one that had the correct info and then another one that was filed. Never would have known unless the auditors picked it up.
ReplyDeleteAt least this person will get justice and I hear now that Wi Hi has one of the best bookkeepers in the county working there now.
Workers on Board time doing work on the property of a central office boss. Any reason that is being kept so secret. Was an investigation done of that kind of stealing? All of us who work at the central office knew it happened.
ReplyDeletenooos maam i was adradiute of your fine learnin establishment. Could not eeford a nintendo. I did get a DIPlomoa from your fine school system.
ReplyDeleteB.O.E. what does that stand fur. Board Of Excrement.
