Earlier today a Peninsula Roofing truck hit a utility pole on Rt 13 in the area of the S curve by the hospital. The road is closed while repairs take place. Please be patient and use an alternate route.
If this was a Ford diesel stakebody, he is an idiot! He was driving very reckless and nearly hit me. After that, he circled Cheers and raced the engine to the point I thought it would explode. Dangerous, agressive driver.
They had a Salisbury Fireman directing traffic at the hospital light today.. Isn't that something a city cop should be doing instead of a city fireman??
We were driving in the lane next to this truck just a little behind him. It did not look like the man driving the truck hit the pole althought I could be wrong. His truck did not swerve or anything. The pole seemed to explode into the air and the lines are what kept it from crashing down hitting us. We still had to swerve to try to avoid the pole as it came down. My husband and I were debating whether the truck hit the pole and it may have but his truck didn't seem to jerk or anything, he just kept going. Glad there was no one else around us or behind the truck as they would have surely been hit by the pole.
The grinch beat you to this Joe. He has the whole story plus someone sent him photos.
ReplyDeleteOh well, you can't win them all. At least the info got out there for others to be aware.

ReplyDeleteThere was a police report called in for this. It sounds like the vehicle was stolen from their lot.
