It's A Dogs World

My dog sleeps about 16 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this He pays nothing, and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than He needs, but He is not required to do any upkeep. If He makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free. He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head:

Holy crap, my dog is a democrat!

  4. that's just plain dumb. I mean all it does is reinforce that "us vs them" mentality which is the biggest problem today. You have been the victim of the government's divide and conquer techniques which cause the citizens to bicker about anything and anything while taking stabs at each other for the only reason that you have the misconseption that you are, well, exactly what they tell you. Way to go!!! It's always republicans vs democrats or liberals vs conservatives. NEVER is it Americans for America. Nothing is this black and white, cut and dry. Anybody with an ounce of intelligence knows they are not purely conservative, nor are the purely liberal. There is no real extreme except what you make through idiotic posts like this. I know the next comment is "oh, he must be liberal" Are there liberal beliefe I support? ABSOLUTELY. Are there conservative belifs that I support? ABSOLUTELY. Can you honestly say that you are 100% conservative? If you say yes, you are only lying to yourself. So, with this post, you are only insulting yourself along with EVERYBODY in this country, but I wouldn't expect you to understand that.

You just continue to help rip apart this country from the inside, by it's own citizens. Seriously... this is so much more dangerous that the terrorists could ever be and you don't even realize it.

  5. When the dog gets old, the owner can say "Time's up" and take the dog to the vet to be euthanized, no questions asked.

The dog has now moved into the land of ObamaCare.

This was a joke!! Please seek help for your narrow minded rage issues. I am a conservative but can still laugh at a good republican slam joke. I agree with your message, but do not feel this post should elicit this strong of a comment.

  7. 11;12 -- Oh, spare me! This is a microcosm of what America is becoming. Tongue-in-cheek? Yes! Funny? Yes? But, for just one moment, stop and think about what's being said. Eventually, if things continue in the same vein, the friggin' gov't is going to be in charge of everything you do. You're very existence is going to depend on what the gov't can GIVE you. Forget about what you can earn on your own -- Uncle Sam will claim the bulk of it. So -- why work? Sit back, say you're unable to work (single mother with small children at home, senior citizen, disabled, whatever...) and let Big Brother take care of you and yours. Life will be GOOD! Right? How PITIFUL!

  8. unfortunately there are more and more people taking this "dogs way of life" nobody wants to work for what they have anymore... They claim disability and when their check comes in they are out doing what truly disabled people wouldn't be able to (dancing, riding amusement park rides, playing sports etc.) or they claim unemployment and then expect all of us who are working to "foot their bill"....i have 3 jobs and i work all the time but i take pride in what i have knowing that i worked hard for it and didn't just steal it from someone else....Wake up america!!!! the more you let people get away with this the more they are going to take advantage of it!!!!! Whatever happened to HARD WORK??? i pity the person who goes thru life relying on others...shame on you!

  10. 11:54 - yeah, maybe it is a strong reaction to a joke, but am I wrong? The civil separation through jokes, choosing sides, and partisanship in general is ripping this country apart while giving those in power, more power and more control while the citizens fall into the trap they laid for us. Many people don't even realize that instead of asking what can I do for my country, they are asking what is the other party doing wrong and how can I stop it.

7:48 - You are absolutley right. People are learning to work the system and depend on this "Dog's World" way of life and it seems like few realize that this is a control mechanism. I mean at one time, these programs were intended to help and they did help, but it's gotten to the point the Big Brother has learned to use these programs to control people and as more and more people rely on the system, more and more people are more easily manipulated and controlled.

The point I tried to make is a little more in depth. The point I tried to make, as I said above, is that this is just another example of people choosing sides instead of choosing America. It's against the system we must unite, not each other. In my opinion, lashing out and insulting the other party does nothing more than create a larger seperation. I put jokes like this on the same level as I do Michael Moore. Oh, and don't worry, I bitch and complain about jokes toward Republicans for the same reason... the ever widening division of thought in this country which will eventually be our downfall. People NEED to learn to work together, and that is just not happening. Instead we see the opposite and we see less and less cooperation all the time. We see politicians who argue along party lines for no other reason than to put on a good show
