DT reports that there was 1 1/2 inches of ice on the field in Dover. Too bad they didn't look and make a decision BEFORE people from Delmar had started to travel to Dover!
The real problem was that Del State did not have any equipment to clear the field so the yard lines would show. In addition, the artificial tuff was so slippery that DIAA thought it was a clear safety issue. No problem with that, but making all of us drive up there when they know the forecast was not very pleasant.
Too cold for football ? Are they wimps ?
ReplyDeleteHas Delmar's parade really been rescheduled until 12/13? ... not tomorrow, 12/7?
ReplyDeleteReally glad they changed the parade,I am sure people would be torn and support for both functions would have suffered.

ReplyDeleteYes, the parade is rescheduled for 12/13 at 2:00.
ReplyDeleteArrrrrrrrrrrrg
ReplyDeleteI was 10 min away from Dover when I got the call that it was postponed at 5:32pm. DIAA should have called it MUCH earlier.
