Maryland State Police have just blocked off Rum Ridge Road. Joe is on his way to the 2:00pm press conference at Shorebirds Stadium. We should have more information shortly.
UPDATE: Joe called in after speaking with State's Attorney, Davis Ruark.
This is a heavily wooded area that is being concentrated on. There is no confirmation of anything being found in this area, at this time.
UPDATE 2: Dagsboro Road is also shut down at this time. The press conference has been rescheduled to 2:30pm.
Stand by, we're bringing updates as fast as we receive them.
I guess they are just expanding their search area now. Looks like still no leads. Sad.

ReplyDeleteHere is the bastards prior. RAPE of a minor
WHY aren't they breaking into the soaps for the press conference? This is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteYou have the cut off road that people used to run around the scales back there, very marshy and desolate area.
ReplyDeletePlease, God, let this child be alive!
ReplyDeleteWhat channel will it be on?
ReplyDeleteI am watching WBOC and WMDT, and so far, it's nothing but soaps. What are the broadcasters thinking???
ReplyDeleteOf course if something was found on Rum Ridge Rd, that will delay the presser.
Was the rape of a child his daughter?
ReplyDeleteThe local tv sucks, what a priority , soaps!
ReplyDeletei AM SURE THEY WILL HOLD THE CONFRENCE OFF SOMETHING IS HAPPENING ON RUM RIDGE AND I AM SURE THIS IS WHY THE SOAPS ARE STILL ON! HEY EVERYONE IF YOU ARE GONNA PRAY DO IT RIGHT NOW NOW IS WHEN WE HOPE THE MIRACLE WILL HAPPEN!
ReplyDeleteAll no, no.
ReplyDeletewill the press conference come on one of the local channels live?
ReplyDeleteyou cant blame the media if there is no press conference being held. lewis must not be ready to report yet.
ReplyDeleteWBOC has been reporting live from the Command Post. I haven't seen anything on WMDT. I would assume WBOC is still on site with police and will report live.
ReplyDeleteNo that one lives in Pittsville.
ReplyDeletethank god for Joe's news site... Joe has earned my respect, he has truly stayed on top of this... I pray that the little one is found alive.
ReplyDeleteThis is a sad day for all of us.
ReplyDeleteI work somewhere that works with both stations regularly. Last I knew wmdt didn't have capability to do live shots remotely.
ReplyDeleteThey should at least put a scroll on the bottom of the screen letting us now PC has been postponed.
ReplyDeleteInstead of us all bitching about whats not being reported from the news, call them they work for us or are suppose to any way and tell them what we want
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe for keeping us all informed on all of this and also thanks to all those helping Joe today. I know Ghanima is posting stuff and Im sure there are others out there helping as well. We do appreciate you ALL keeping us informed.
ReplyDeleteI agree. My comment was meant to let ppl know to expect little from wmdt
ReplyDeletehey look at that wboc finally reported everything that is posted on here. nothing new
ReplyDeleteWboc just gave a press conference. another one at 1700 hrs with some questioning and answers.
ReplyDelete2:39 Your wrong about WMDT's capabilities. Need to update your knowledge.
ReplyDeleteIf you are saying to update my knowledge about WMDT...and you are saying that they have the CAPABILITIES....Then WHY are they not covering this story REMOTELY??!!
ReplyDeletepraying for this child. www.marylandmissing.com
ReplyDelete3:37 Why don't you call the station and ask them?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe it's too late. I think she's still with us. Please dear God let me be right...I can't stop thinking about this and won't untill her where abouts---good or bad (hopefully good) are known. Please everyone, keep praying. There is nothing like the power of prayer.
